The Doctrines of Demons

(February 3, 2023) Nearly 2,000 years ago, the Apostle Paul was inspired by God’s Holy Spirit to express a prophecy that even a few years ago seemed impossible.

One of the dangers posed to people of faith, Paul proposed to Timothy, would be deceptive spiritual forces and teachings of demons.

Christians have puzzled over the short prophecy in 1 Timothy 4:1-5, with portions of this passage vastly misunderstood.

Let’s examine each piece of this end time prophecy:

1 Timothy 4:1-5: “Now the Spirit clearly says that in the last times some will depart from the faith and pay attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their consciences seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and not to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. (Modern English Version)

Most disturbing of this prophecy is the idea that individuals would leave the truth of God, and pay attention to ideas that come from men, who themselves are indoctrinated with demonically inspired ideas.  These former believers will abandon their knowledge of the truth and fall susceptible to teachings that are inspired by the demonic realm.  Is it possible that evil thinking is already present in our world today?  WNPR thinks so, based on ideas that have surfaced only recently regarding our food supply and gender controversies.

Did Paul “Cleanse” All Foods?

Paul adamantly declared God created animals for food for man — and that they could be consumed and received with thanksgiving.  This raises an important adjacent point; Paul did not, as some think, give God’s blessing for the consumption of “all creatures.”  He qualified his statement by saying that it is fine to eat meat that is “sanctified by the word of God and prayer.”  This simply means those foods specified in Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14 as animals created by God for food.  Those are the foods Christians could give God thanks for! (Matthew 5:11 “Give us this day our daily bread.”)

Raised as a Jew, Timothy would have understood this.

“You Vil Eat Ze Bugs”

The above heading were words spoken by the World Economic Forum founder, Klaus Schwab, with his Germanic accent.  In Schwab’s grand vision for mankind, outlined in his book, Covid-19 The Great Reset, and the proposals he has endorsed from the United Nations; Agenda 2030, all nations need to prepare for a future that includes “sustainability.”  Schwab’s World Economic Forum, which includes many world leaders as members, envisions a future in which farming, cities, citizenry, human rights and ownership is radically changed.  Powered by their vision that many domesticated animals are destroying the environment, the WEF suggests that our priorities must shift from eating farm animals to bugs.  No kidding!  Klaus says, “you will own nothing and be happy.”  And insects, rather than cattle, sheep or chickens are preferred for food because of their “sustainable nature,” and in the view of Schwab and his minions, a lesser impact on the environment.

Disciples of the World Economic Forum in the Dutch Parliament are seeking to shut down farms in Holland, because of the supposed effect of cattle on the environment.  Holland is the world’s 2nd largest exporter of food.  This was the cause of protests from Dutch farmers in 2022.  If Schwab, the UN and the WEF are successful in Holland, where will this trend end?

The Sanctity of Marriage

In 2008, American President Barak Obama said, “I believe marriage is between a man and a woman, I am not in favor of gay marriage.”  But in 2012, he advocated for “same sex marriage” because his views had “evolved.”

In many English translations of the Greek word kolyo in verse 3 is translated “forbidding.”  But it could also be translated as “hinder” or “prevent.”

The emphasis on the trans gender movement and the blurring of gender roles in western society will certainly hinder the institution of marriage as it is allowed to be taught in schools of the Western world.  This is how outlandish ideas and teachings become normalized.

The idea that marriage could be prevented or hindered, with the result being a reduction in offspring as a natural occurrence, is indeed a Satanic thought.

Just a few years ago, it would have been hard to imagine the idea that consumption of food that God created to be enjoyed by man, and the marriage covenant would be attacked simultaneously.  But here we are.  Paul warned Timothy — and us!

What can you do?  Reject the ungodly values that foods God created to be enjoyed are bad for you or the environment.  Reject the demonism behind the blending of human gender.

If you have children or grandchildren, be on guard!  Protect them from the evil of the “spirit of this world,” (1 Corinthians 2:9, Ephesians 2:2, 2 Corinthians 4:4)
