(February 10, 2023) The address by the President of the United States this past Tuesday evening may have been the best indicator of the relative standing among nations of the United States of America.
President Biden’s references to non-compete agreements with fast food restaurants, that Paul Pelosi was attacked because of election denial, that he has observed climate change results from viewing wildfires from a helicopter, crediting his wife with being a full-time teacher and inventor of a slogan, or the claim that Republicans want to eliminate the Social Security system are just a few of the remarks that brought on howls from the Republican opposition.
If the speech wasn’t riddled with so many obvious mistruths, it would be the object of derision over the numerous gaffes and incoherent phrasing by the President, indicative of his obvious mental decline.
To put it bluntly, President Biden is barely hanging on to reality, both mentally and physically. His Presidency, sadly, is metaphoric for the US decline among nations.
Who Is in Charge Here?
Several days earlier, the music industry held its annual awards night for popular music. One presentation turned into a tribute to Satan, with music set to grotesque writhing and imagery of sexual slavery. With the singer dressed in red hat and horns, the imagery was unmistakable. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
Many attendees at the Grammys were horrified at the display but it was another sign of the trending influence in Hollywood and modern entertainment. Their art is a reflection of the current values trending in some aspects of American society, sexual deviancy, pedophilia, and trans gender culture. It should also be noted that these values are abhorrent to many Americans.
If Bible prophecy didn’t alert us that our national downfall is imminent, history, both ancient and modern would suggest that cultural demise proceeds a fall.
America’s Economy Failing
While President Biden cited dubious statistics that America’s economy has rebounded, the facts, cited by many independent observers, is that the nation is on the brink of depression, only being propped up by the manipulation of the Federal Reserve and its hedgy scheme of printing currency– actually creating currency out of thin air. Currently, the only reason the US Stock market remains at relatively high levels is because the Fed is able to invest in the market — with the money they have created! Many financial experts expect a run-on US banks at some point in the near future.
America’s War with Russia
We are nearing the 1-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Of all modern wars, this was one that could have easily been avoided, but evidence is mounting that the events of the last year are the result of careful planning to encourage Russia’s advances into Ukraine.
By encouraging Ukraine to apply for NATO membership, the Biden administration violated agreements made by previous administrations to retain Ukraine as a “buffer” between Russia and the rest of Europe.
Just days ago, former NY Times investigative writer Seymor Hersh revealed the blockbuster report that it was U.S. Navy divers who planted charges on Russia’s Nordstream natural gas pipelines, along with assistance from NATO ally, Norway. You can read about the planned operation here:

Although the White House initially floated the idea that Vladimir Putin had planted a false flag by blowing up his own pipelines, that story was discredited because President Biden had made a statement of America’s ability to destroy the pipelines. Exactly one year ago, while Russia was mounting its invasion of Ukraine, the President said, February 7, 2022: “If Russia invades . . . there will no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.”
As the Hersh article explains, the planning for the operation had already taken place. Retrospectively, the President’s comments were likely another symptom of his inability to keep the planning secret, and yet another sign of his dementia.
Just seven months later, September 26, 2022, the pipelines were blown up, causing an incredible environmental disaster in the Baltic Sea, and eliminating access to natural gas to much of Europe, from Russia.
The provocative act was intended to encourage NATO and Europe to cut their ties with inexpensive Russian natural gas and get them on board to assist in providing arms for the Ukrainian conflict. The beneficiary has been Norway, now able to sell Europe their natural gas. This is why this nation became a willing accomplice in the covert operation as revealed by Hersh’s report from inside whistleblowers.
While we do not yet know the ultimate outcome of the conflict in the Ukraine, the United States is once again mired in war, like the many wars in past decades in the Middle East and S.E. Asia, unnecessary, costly, but also very productive for the Military Industrial Complex which has been enriched by Trillions from American taxpayers over 7 decades. Other reports indicate that many of the Billions of dollars sent as aid to the Ukraine have made their way back to American political campaigns, and in the pockets of Ukrainian politicians.
Chinese Ballons
Another event that points to the decline of American power and prestige is the handling of the recent Chinese spy Balloon that was allowed to travel over the continental United States, unhindered in its ability to gather important information and intelligence of American military installations. As of this writing, yet another Ballon has invaded American airspace in Alaska.
As President Biden has portrayed both physical and mental weakness in his personal health, it is expressed nationally in incompetence and deliberate intention to evacuate the traditional role of America as the world’s lone superpower.
The Rising Beast
Will the continued decline of American power encourage nations of Europe to form an alliance outside the axis of the United States? Possibly, because Bible prophecy indicates a military, economic and religious superpower that will emerge and dominate world affairs. (Revelation 13:1-18)
This mysterious “Beast” or kingdom/government (Daniel 7:23-24) will have at least seven distinct characteristics and impacts on the world; 1. It will be backed by the power of Satan 2. It will be worshipped by the world 3. It will blaspheme God 4. it will persecute the Saints 5. It will have a powerful religious ally 6. It will institute a “mark” on mankind allowing or restricting commerce 7. It will be identified by the number ‘666.’
The actions of this world ruling Kingdom will plunge the United States and many nations into “Great Tribulation.” (Matthew 24:21)
What can you do to avoid the impact of this powerful, deceptive government? There will be no physical salvation or protection from the prophesied end time calamity caused by the power of “the Beast.”
