This Can’t Be Real

Many of my friends and family have confided that living through the last 16 months of a Covid 19 infected world has felt like a surreal nightmare. How about you?

The world certainly wasn’t perfect by any means in January 2020.  But it took a turn for the worse shortly afterwards. Everything about everyone’s lives – family, job, school, church changed dramatically. As a race, we adapted, of necessity. We met less face to face and more electronically. Because it was forbidden in many parts of the world to assemble or congregate. In the early stages of the Covid 19 hysteria, it seemed like the right thing to do in the face of the unknown.

We were told to do things never imaginable, all in the name of health and protecting each other, like staying away from one another, even if you had no symptoms of illness. We were told that the virus could spread by asymptomatic individuals. That theory, like many other ideas that changed behaviors is wrong.  The whole world “masked up,” in an effort to “stop the spread” of the disease. Intelligent people, who should know better, advised universal mask wearing despite knowing that a virus can easily penetrate any cloth or paper mask because it is 500,000 times smaller than the gaps in the mask. They are useless, and many medical authorities said so at the beginning, including the National Institute of Health physician, Dr. Anthony Fauci, who became the de-facto Covid Czar for the entire world. Even as many parts of the United States have opened for business, some few mask-wearing adherents are still convinced of the health benefit of wearing masks. The commonsense understanding that wearing the same mask repeatedly, day after day is probably going to create more health problems than it solves escaped the sensibility of many otherwise reasonable people. The masks people wear, as if proselytes of a zany new religion are filled with germs, bacteria, and other pathogens that can be deadly, by themselves.

Mask wearing was also very popular, and thought to be essential, in the epidemic of 1918, and up to 75 to 100 million died during that time.  But according to research done by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (the same agency that Dr. Fauci works for) the predominant cause of death during that time was not the virus, but bacterial pneumonia. The study, published by the agency in 2008, show that pathologists of the day were unanimous in their conviction that most deaths were caused by a secondary, bacterial infection, pneumonia,  and not the virus itself. This was before the age of antibiotics. The paper continues; “Indeed, the availability of antibiotics during the other influenza pandemics of the 20th century, specifically those of 1957 and 1968, was probably a key factor in the lower number of worldwide deaths during those outbreaks.” Is it just coincidence that during both pandemics, mask wearing in the most heavily affected areas was universal?

Early on in 2020, several doctors showed that an effective cocktail of the antibiotic Zithromax (Z Pak), zinc and the common, inexpensive anti malaria and rheumatology drug hydroxychloroquine proved to be an effective treatment for patients infected with the novel coronavirus. Many of these physicians were shamed, silenced, or forbidden by Governors of several states, such as New York and Michigan to prescribe these drugs for their infected patients. This was a historic first. Patients were dying, physicians were convinced of the efficacy of the drug cocktail, yet many were fired for publishing their results and speaking out. Elected officials banned the use of products that were proven in some parts of the country to save lives and help people recover. In another time, the public would be convinced that such action was criminal. There should have been outrage. But mostly there wasn’t.

Adding to the bizzarro world like quality of Covid, big tech and big media joined ranks to suppress the voices of those who dared question the official versions of the pandemic promulgated by the government or mainstream media outlets. Freedom of speech wasn’t totally lost in the United States in 2020. But it has been lost incrementally, along with other freedoms – like assembly, and the loss of freedom has been much worse in nations like Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. Canada has jailed ministers whose crime was holding a church service. People in Britain have been savagely beaten and taken into custody by the police for not wearing a mask while out for a walk, and in Australia, a woman was forcibly separated from her infant child and hustled into a police van, and taken to jail for peacefully and silently holding a sign, on the street, protesting the government lockdowns, which in that nation have been a symbol of totalitarian overreach.

In all of this, the message has been universal; “you will comply, or you will be punished.” And comply we did.  We stopped seeing our friends.  We were stopped from doing anything the government deemed non-essential, like going to school, going to work (in many cases) or going to church. What we found out most of all is that common sense can be suspended if the mandates forbidding behaviors are bold, authoritative, and draconian. Interestingly, behavior modification was worldwide. No corner of the globe has been untouched. It is as if the whole world has been in lock step.

Where might all of this – Covid 19 — the most significant event of the 21^st century – fit into the framework of end-time Bible Prophecy? 

Perhaps you disagree with some of our assertions regarding the true nature of the Pandemic. Do you believe every government official or social media site has been forthright with you?  Are you of the opinion that if you are told you must be vaccinated to stay healthy, that you will do so? Do you believe that it is necessary for everyone to be vaccinated for society to return to “normal?” Do you believe that the unvaccinated pose the greatest health risk to everyone else?

Well, some do!  And these new mandates are being proposed now. And the control of information and suppression of truth will get worse. The Apostle Paul warned that a colossal deception would be foisted on the world during the time of the end. No, Covid 19 isn’t that deception. As encompassing as the worldwide behavioral modification has been during the era of Covid, this time will pale in comparison with what is coming! Contained in Paul’s epic warning is a key you can use to protect your mind during the momentous times ahead. Notice the instruction found in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11:

“9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Paul said that the time preceding Jesus’ return would be a time of unrighteous deception by Satan, as he works through the human agency of the godless “man of sin.” (v.3) In Revelation 13:13-14, this same individual performs “great signs,” and deceives those who dwell on the earth.

As in the era of Covid 19, compliance to the dictates of this unholy power will be universal around the globe! We have never seen a closer parallel to the cataclysmic and deviant force which will be unleashed on mankind.

The force of the devil will grow much more powerfully because he knows his time is short (Revelation 12:12), so what can you possibly do to prevent being overtaken by the demonic influence of the end time?

Paul’s words hold a vital key, from his letter to the Thessalonians, quoted above. Many will be deceived by Satan and his human henchmen “because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”

Paul continues by showing that deception will happen to all those who have pleasure in unrighteousness and lawlessness. We are now living in momentous times, contradictory to our shared history in the United States – individual liberty and decision making replaced by ordered dictates.

It is time to WAKE UP.  Spiritually. There is a continuing and rising tension, in the United States and the world between right and wrong, morality and immorality. The devil’s aim is to enslave all mankind in a universal government under the leadership of him as the invisible and silent partner of incredibly evil men with sinister plans.

Pray for God’s guidance and protection for all. Pray for and seek the truth of God and live by it.

Students of Bible Prophecy have long anticipated the rise of a powerful, authoritarian government that will dominate world affairs just before the return of Jesus Christ. The Book of Revelation depicts a union of nations that will exert a totalitarian vice like grip on the entire world.

For Americans, and those who have lived in nations that protect individual civil liberties and rights, a world ruling government with absolute power over subjects is the stuff of ancient history, or fascist, socialist and communist regimes of the 20^th and 21^st centuries.

In a world that has been dominated by freedom and liberty loving America, it is hard to imagine a future time in which the entire world is ruled by a savage dictator.  Hitler, Stalin, Mao Tse-tung (Zedong) were collectively responsible for the deaths of over 100 million people in the 20^th century, and their ideologies encouraged the death and suffering of millions more.

On the prophetic horizon, foretold in your Bible, is the specter of unimaginable horror and nightmare, led by men more brutal than any despot in history. You need to be aware that the foundation of sinister schemes and plans may well be in their formative stages today.

Even if you are familiar with Bible Prophecy, there may be several reasons it is difficult to understand what may be unfolding on the world scene, even now.

First, if you live in America, you may be subject to “cycle bias.” It may also be true in other nations that allow individual liberties and freedoms. What is “cycle bias?” You may well be used to periods in business or economy where there are “booms and busts.” For decades, the markets go up, then may fall precipitously, as in 1987,1999/2000, 2008 and 2020. For various reasons, the stock market suddenly dropped, investors lost 30-50% of their investments, but then the markets rose, each time recovering quickly to reach new highs. We are subject to cycle bias in politics as well; the pendulum swings conservative, then more liberal, back, and forth, and with the division of power between Judicial, Congressional and Executive branches in the United States, middle ground is sought. Cycle bias helps explain our inclination to believe that dire circumstances will be followed by a return to the status quo, and to reject the potential of vast, far reaching, cataclysmic change.

You may also have a very rational “NQ.” NQ is “normalcy quotient.” Everyone I know yearns for the world to “return to normal.” Normal means back to work, to school, no more shutdowns and lockdowns. As a rational, sensible person, you were probably willing to put up with inconvenience, with the hope of returning to normal.

For 16 months, the world has been held captive by a virus that is most dangerous to those 75 years and older, (who should be protected vigorously) and those with multiple co-morbid conditions, in combination with advancing age. For everyone else, the recovery rate without treatment is 99.8%. And it may be even higher – if all the deaths attributed to Covid 19 which were really caused by automobile accident, shooting, suicide, pneumonia, etc., were eliminated from the death tolls.

It is difficult for many people to accept that those in authority may have ulterior motives in directing the movements of virtually everyone on earth. Like a high Intelligence Quotient, its good to have a high NQ, but you might also consider that something may be going on that is far more dangerous to humanity than a virus.

One of the warnings of the “last days” from the Apostle Paul (2 Timothy 3:1) is that “evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” (Verse 13) How do evil men go from “bad to worse,” as some translations read? By practice! They find control in lying and deceiving, and they perfect their skill. And if there is no accountability, they are emboldened to take evil to the next level.

This is where you, your cycle bias and NQ need to take a serious pause and consider that much of what you have been told to do in the name of public health hasn’t been helpful and has been accompanied by a great deal of fraud and deception.

The deception, lying and evil spiritual influence has infiltrated every fiber of society, infecting our world and especially leaders of nations, who in turn have been responsible for a type of bondage unique in our history. The spiritual impact of Covid 19 will have far greater consequences than health related.

Is what we have experienced in 2020/2021 a prelude to the rise of the greatest totalitarian power in man’s history? Have the enforced mandates and lockdowns been a test case to see how submissive we will be to the dictates of governmental leaders?

A “new normal” is described in Revelation 18. This chapter foretells the destruction of the last great, yet incredibly evil economic, political, and religious system. It is framed under the title “Babylon.” Babylon was the site of the first city/state after the Flood. It represents the best man can do apart from God, influenced by the “god of this world,” Satan.

The end time Babylon is shown to be unbelievably wealthy (Revelation 18:7), having made the leaders of the earth – Kings and Merchants, fabulously wealthy and successful (Verses 9-16), but at the expense of the “bodies and souls” of men.

The destruction of this ungodly society, one that has enveloped the world just prior to Jesus’ return, will be tragically mourned by the elites of the world. (Verses 16-19) Totalitarian systems have a few winners, and almost always traffic in human slavery. China has shown that high profit can be achieved with virtual slave labor in many of their growing industries.

Revelation 18 declares the end of all unjust systems of man. “Babylon” or man searching for his own way apart from God’s inspiration is coming to an end. The devilish and demonic influence of Babylon will cease to be part of man’s culture, commerce, and everyday life. (Verses 21-23)

This vile and persuasive system must be destroyed at Christ’s coming (Revelation 19) as it, and it alone has been responsible for the death of all God’s servants, as well as all those “slain on the earth.” (v.24)

Is “Babylon” here today?  Emphatically yes!  It is the foundation upon which this world has been built.  It has been the ideas, the agendas, and the sin of man that required the sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Revelation 13:8).

The Good News is that the destruction of “Babylon” and all its false ideologies and “isms” will be defeated by Jesus Christ, as illustrated in Revelation 19, upon His return to earth.

“Babylon” will be replaced with the governance of Jesus Christ, ruling as the beneficent “King of Kings,” and the result will be spectacular! At the very outset of His reign for 1,000 years, on earth, notice the excitement and enthusiasm of all mankind to unlearn the falsehoods of the previous age, and their excitement to embrace the truth of God:

Isaiah 2 1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. ² Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it. ³ Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of he Lord from Jerusalem. ⁴ He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.

For now, carefully watch for the desire of men to rule over others. Evaluate, think critically, and above all, look to God for His guidance and inspiration for the difficult days ahead!

A few years ago, a friend of mine called me on July 2^nd to wish me a “Happy Independence Day,” citing the 2^nd of July as the “Declaration of Independence.”  Technically, he was correct, the Declaration was passed, officially, by the Continental Congress on July 2, 1776.  Still, he has had difficulty getting his friends to attend his “2^nd of July Barbeque!”

John Adams agreed with my friend, remarking; “July 2 will be celebrated for generations to come.”  Although the Declaration was approved on the 2^nd, the formal document had to be put into official form, taken to the printers and signed, all which took another 2 days to complete.  Adams, representing the Federalist party favored the July 2^nd date and Thomas Jefferson, of the Republican party, the July 4.  Ironically, both ex-Presidents died the same day – July 4, 1826.

July 4 is the most patriotic National Holiday in the United States, with parades, cook outs, celebrations among towns, cities and families across the country.  It may be the one holiday in America in which virtually everyone remembers the history; the founding of a nation, but what is happening in America, July 2021, is hardly patriotic.

The Covid Set-Up

The most influential event of the 21^st Century has been the worldwide Pandemic of 2020 which has extended into the first six months of 2021. How many ways has the Pandemic affected the United States of America, the beacon of individual freedom since its inception in 1776?

The most prosperous nation in the history of mankind has also had the greatest freedoms, guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States, with individual rights insured by Amendments and the Bill of Rights.

It is now obvious that the Covid 19 infection is the direct result of experimentation of various viruses from bats and developed in a military lab in Wuhan China.  Was the release of the Wuhan virus purely accidental, or was it used as a bioweapon to destabilize the economies of the world, and especially the United States?

Prior to the beginning of 2020, the United States economy was roaring, and the tariffs imposed on China was slowing the fastest growing economy of the past 30 years.

What followed, from January 2020, was the erosion of every tenant of the founding fathers of the United States – individual rights and freedoms that originated in the ancient nation of Israel, given the 10 Commandments on Mount Sinai, along with the rest of national law, many which protected individual rights and freedoms for the first time in man’s history.

For over three hundred years, the most powerful and influential nations have been the British Empire and the United States of America. These two nations were the first of the modern world to outlaw slavery and championed individual liberty through a dedication to law that mirrored the Laws of the Bible. These two nations have also been most responsible for spreading the Law of God throughout the world.

Is it coincidence that the English-speaking peoples of the world have had the greatest systems of constitutional law, the envy of mankind, and up to now have dominated the world scene?  Not only have these nations been protectors of law and freedom for their own people, but they have also been instrumental in liberating the entire world from the grip of tyranny throughout the 20^th century.

Covid 19 was a real infection, but the hysteria created by governments around the world, big tech and big media exacerbated the problem, and the shutdowns that followed the spread of infection probably killed many more thousands than the actual disease.  Suicide deaths, especially among young people have skyrocketed, and death from other causes such as cardiovascular disease and cancer have also gone up as many patients delayed or ignored routine and urgent medical care because of the lockdown of society. Strangely, the overall incidence of death has not increased during the “greatest pandemic in modern history.” Why has there been such emphasis on a disease which has had its greatest effect on our older populations, those with multiple underlying medical conditions, but even at its worst, has had a 99.8% survival rate across all age groups?

Control.

1776 represents the momentous time of history in which man’s freedoms were codified by a civil government, which had its foundation in the Laws of the Bible!

Interestingly, the largest English-speaking nations outside the United States have exercised more control over their citizenry than many other nations.  Citizens in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia have had much more severe shutdowns during the Pandemic.  Australia and Canada have severely limited freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. Australia, a nation of 25 million, has had very few deaths attributed to Covid but most of the population is still severely shut down. In these nations, people have been arrested and imprisoned not only for defying government shutdown, such as not wearing a mask while outside, but for even speaking out against it!

Governments that have found compliant populations easy to control, forcing social distancing, mask wearing and business shutdowns, none which make any difference in halting progression of a virus.  Government leaders, both elected and appointed have found power in the lockdown, and despite having no scientific basis, have been reluctant to ease the restrictions.

America’s Future?

The signers of the Declaration of Independence promised to “mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor,” and many of them and their fellow patriots did in fact sacrifice their lives and fortunes in service to our country.

Where does America go from here?

What does Bible Prophecy have to say about the role of America in the present world?

The prophet Micah shows a remnant people – the descendants of Jacob – to be prominent among all nations on earth. (Micah 5:7-9) These prophecies were never fulfilled in Micah’s day, in the 8^th century before Christ.

The power and domination described by Micah has only found its fulfillment in the United States and British Commonwealth.  As gracious and inspiring as the sacrifice of America’s founding fathers and early citizens, in the late 18^th century, no one could have predicted the power, prestige and influence of the United States over 240 years ago.

Micah also foretold of the sudden demise of the “remnant of Jacob” as well, as the military, economic and political power is eroded.  (Micah 5:10-14)

While we do not know when these things will happen, Micah and other prophecies about “Jacob’s trouble,” indicate a sudden and dramatic demise of American power. (Jeremiah 30:7)

There are clear dangers facing America.  It is estimated that at least 5 million illegal aliens have entered the United States since President Biden took office in January.  Of course, candidate Biden encouraged immigrants from Central America to “surge to the border” during the Presidential campaign of 2020.  They did and they are.  Another 5 million, at least are expected to enter the United States illegally, at President Biden’s encouragement, October 2021.

What happens when they arrive?  Instead of being returned to their home nations, these illegal immigrants are housed, fed, and then bused and airlifted to various areas of the United States.  Many are unaccompanied minor children.  Some are abandoned at the border; some have died as result of neglect.  In short, the United States is facing a humanitarian crisis unprecedented in its history. Very few news outlets are covering this story because most of the United States news media is sympathetic to the Biden Presidency policies.

Few are focusing on this critical situation, instead focusing on the specious danger of a bad flu.

A Warning Must Be Given

A clear principle in the inspired writings of prophecy is that God does nothing without giving appropriate warning: Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

The prophecies of Amos and other Prophets is clear – if we do not repent of our national sin, we will be punished as a nation.

Another important prophetic principle to remember is that God will not bring calamity upon His people without a strong warning message.  Ezekiel 33 explains that man must be informed of his sin before God will bring punishment, especially on a national scale.

Coupled with the pronouncement of Jesus, on the Mount of Olives, the message of God’s coming kingdom, with the reign of Christ to replace the unjust rule of man, you can be sure that the entire world will be warned during the “times of the end.” (Matthew 24:14)

Few churches are giving a warning message to the nation.  Many are ignoring the dire calamities expressed in the hundreds of prophecies given to the descendants of the people God called out of Egypt – Twelve tribes (not one, Judah) of Israel.

What Can You Do?

If you are privileged to live in any of the English-speaking nations of the world – be thankful!  Be aware of what is happening right now.  Study your Bible.  Prepare yourself spiritually because we are truly living in dangerous times.

The Longest Day

The credit for the name of June 6, 1944 was attributed to German Field Marshall, Irwin Rommel, who, in anticipation of an Allied invasion of Europe, predicted before the actual event; “… the first 24 hours of the invasion will be decisive…the fate of Germany depends on the outcome…for the Allies, as well as Germany, it will be the longest day.”

Rommel realized that if “Operation Overlord,” could be repelled, it would buy Germany another 6 months before another attempt could be made by the Allies.

Today, June 6, 2021 is the 77^th anniversary of the successful invasion of France.  An invasion that not only changed the 20^th century and beyond, but also was the culmination of the collaboration of the two greatest nations in the history of the world. Their combined might and strength changed history and is perhaps the greatest example of fulfilled prophecy of our lifetimes!

The Phenomenal Rise To Power

For the several years World News & Prophecy Report has covered the story of how Great Britain became “Great.”  How the United States, rose quickly to prominence among nations. Together, these nations did what no other dynastic nations in history have done; an ascension to world dominance without enslaving other nations.

Britain defeated would be world ruling dictator Napoleon in June 1815, thus ending the 5^th of SEVEN prophesied heads of “The Beast.”  Each of these “Beasts” are pictured in Revelation 17, having a relationship with a “woman . . . arrayed in purple and scarlet.”  This “woman” is responsible for murdering God’s saints, and is stained with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. (Revelation 17:6)

“Woman” in Revelation 17 is synonymous witha church or religious body.  Revelation 17 show a relationship between Church and State (please compare Daniel 7:23).  It is no coincidence that the great dictators of Europe, from 554, Justinian, Charlemagne, Otto the Great, Charles V, and Napoleon, all have one thing in common – ALL were crowned as Kings of the Holy Roman Empire, by the Pope, the leader of the European Church!

In 1944, Great Britain and the United States combined their industrial and military might – joined by the nations of the Commonwealth; Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other parts of the British Empire to defeat the 6^th Head of the Holy Roman Empire, Nazi Germany and Mussolini’s Italy, in World War 2.

D-Day, June 6, 1944 was the culmination of the victory of two separate but unified peoples.  The United States and British Commonwealth have an ancient heritage – countries who developed from tribes, whose origin were families – of brothers.  These two brothers – Ephraim and Manasseh, were the sons of Joseph. 

These young sons of Joseph were claimed by their grandfather – Jacob – in order to confer the national, birthright blessings on them collectively. (Genesis 48:14-20) Note the words of Genesis 48:20: “By you Israel will bless saying, “May God make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh!”  The other brothers of Jacob, noted in Genesis 49, have also been guarded by Joseph through history.

For over 200 years, these nations have led the world, and twice in the 20^th century, defeated nations intent on imposing dictatorial rule over the world.  Ephraim – Britain, and Manasseh — America, stand alone among all nations, protecting many nations from despots and dictators.

77 Years Ago Today

The defeat of the Axis powers in World War 2 would not have been possible without the landed force of 150,000 men from the British Commonwealth and American armies.  Is there any prophetic significance to the events that concluded the devastating effects of World War 2?

Note the prophecy in the book of Micah that anciently predicted the power of the descendants of Joseph (remembering that Jacob claimed Joseph’s sons as his own):

“And the remnant of Jacob Shall be among the Gentiles, In the midst of many peoples, Like a lion among the beasts of the forest, Like a young lion among flocks of sheep, Who, if he passes through, Both treads down and tears in pieces, And none can deliver. 9 Your hand shall be lifted against your adversaries, And all your enemies shall be cut off.” (Micah 5:7-9)

The important parts of this prophecy are the remnant of Jacob – a key that alludes to a future time.  Jacob is pictured among the nations, (beasts) and “if’” he passes through – meaning he didn’t seek to engage them but intervenes of necessity.

D-Day brought about the liberation of Europe, and the beginning of 77 years of Anglo-American beneficent dominance among the nations of the world.

Anniversaries Are Important

On various anniversaries, American Presidents have paid homage to the sacrifice of the Allied Forces landing on the beaches of Normandy.  Historically the remarks by an American President have been the most important statements due to the resilient power of America, and its continuing contribution to insuring the freedom of the world.

These occasions are important, because past events reinforce actions that should be repeated, and mistakes that need avoidance.   But the 75^th anniversary remembrance of D-Day in 2019, when President Trump addressed world leaders, may be the last significant remembrance of the contribution of “The Greatest Generation.”   In 1938, the 75^th Anniversary of the battle of Gettysburg was the last such significant memorial of the Civil War.  There were fewer than 8,000 survivors of the Civil War.  The centennial celebration of the end of the Civil War in 1965, was largely ignored in the United States. Now, as then, the survivors of the Normandy invasion are all but gone.

The Miracle At Normandy

Despite all the planning of the invasion, there were many more disadvantages than advantages faced by the Allied forces.  The weather had turned for the better for the invasion, but it was by no means perfect.  The crossing of the English Channel was rough for the flotilla of thousands of ships, and especially for the thousands of landing craft.  Many of the troops were horribly sea sick when they were to disembark their landing craft.

The wide beaches of Normandy were protected with powerful machine guns high atop the bluffs of the beach.  Often times the landing craft carrying troops to the beach faced heavy fire as they neared land.  Those landing early suffered up to a 90% casualty rate.  Many who experienced an early landing that day, in the confusion and chaos, watched the killing field that were the beaches of Normandy, convinced that the invasion had failed.

President Franklin Roosevelt and Prime Minister Winston Churchill both led their respective nations in prayer, beseeching God for a successful invasion.

The Rise of Europe (One more time)

The unification of Europe in the middle of the 20^th century, through anarchy, failed.  But Bible Prophecy shows us that Europe will rise again, and this time will become the most dominant power in the world – surpassing the United States, China and Russia.

Once again, there will be union of Church and State that will unite Europe.   In their blind rage, these nations will attack Jesus Christ at His return. (Revelation 17:13-14)

The unity, sacrifice and devotion of those days will be remembered today, but unfortunately, those memories will not translate to a renewed sense of unity among our nations.  The Greatest Generation changed the world, but as the few remaining veterans fade away, the sacrifice of those times will as well.

The final resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire — the 7th and final “Beast” or government , and Church and State alliance is still on the prophetic horizon.

As the prominence and power of the United States is fading quickly, China is flexing its economic and military might, and Russia is considering its options, attempting unification with former parts of the United Soviet Socialist Republic, do not lose sight of events in Europe!

Across the United States, and in some other nations around the world, Covid19 restrictions are being relaxed as infection and death rates are greatly reduced.

It is hard to believe that an infection has surpassed the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001, as the biggest news story of the 21^st century.

9/11 affected the entire world, but only the United States suffered loss of life. The Pandemic of 2020/2021 engulfed the entire world, cloaking it in death and fear.

As some of the panic now seems to be subsiding, shocking revelations have surfaced regarding the individual many considered the “Pandemic Czar,” Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Freedom of Information requests to look at his government email account has uncovered shocking revelations and admissions that corroborate the rumors and allegations many have suspected of Dr. Fauci from the beginning of the outbreak in the United States, January 2020.

Dr. Fauci’s flip flopping and contradictory statements at the beginning of the Covid19 outbreak were confusing.  He opposed travel restrictions from China, enacted by President Trump, joining the chorus of opposition that claimed the President was “xenophobic.”

Weeks later, as the number of cases surged, Dr. Fauci claimed “the administration didn’t do enough,” to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.  Dr. Fauci also ridiculed the use of inexpensive therapeutics to treat infected patients when there was abundant evidence that suggested several widely available treatments were saving lives. Governors of several states even banned the use of hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial agent, also used to treat certain rheumatological illnesses since the 1950’s.  Coincidentally, in vast areas of sub-Saharan Africa, where hydroxychloroquine has been used prophylactically to treat malaria, the rate of Covid19 infection was among the lowest in the world.  Many other physicians and clinics have publicized how effective this agent was in reducing the symptoms of the virus, one Houston physician claimed that she treated hundreds of Coronavirus patients with a simple drug cocktail and none of them died.

At the onset of the Covid19 pandemic, we were led to belief the origin of the virus was the “wet markets” of Wuhan – where live animals are chosen by patrons and cooked.  That the Chinese have some bizarre culinary choices is an understatement, but in these markets, all types of animals are cooked from a live state – dogs, cats, even bats!  The original premise is that the Covid virus, from live/cooked bats infected humans, and then spread through the world.

But in the last year we have learned the Wuhan Institute of Virology has been conducting experiments with bat viruses for several years – apparently since similar research was moved there from the University of North Carolina.  All funded by the National Institute of Health, under the stewardship of Dr. Anthony Fauci.

This calls into question comments from a speech Dr. Fauci made at Georgetown University, January 11, 2017, just days before President Trump’s inauguration:

“If there’s one message that I want to leave with you today… is that there is no question that there will be a challenge to the coming administration in the arena of infectious diseases.”

“Both chronic infectious diseases in the sense of already ongoing disease, and we have certainly a large burden of that, but also there will be a surprise outbreak.

Was Dr. Fauci prescient in his ability to predict the future?  How could he state so confidentially, 3 years prior, that there would be a “surprise outbreak”? Was he posturing for more emergency funding for the NIH, was it a lucky guess, or did he know in advance China would deliberately launch a bioweapon against the world?

Whatever the answer, Dr. Fauci’s guidance on all things pandemic related has been a confusing jumble of double talk, misspeak, contradiction and even possible subversion.

What have we learned through the Pandemic that may have relevance concerning Bible Prophecy?

Jesus said in the Olivet Prophecy that pestilence, along with war, famine and earthquakes would be the “beginning of sorrows.” (Matthew 24:6-8)

But has Covid19 been the kind of serious disease Jesus alluded to?  According to the Centers for Disease Control, only 6% of all deaths attributed to Covid19 are causative.  That means that 94% of Covid deaths occurred in the presence of co morbid conditions, such as heart disease, kidney disease, pneumonia, cancer, etc.  Since we know that the total number of deaths in 2020 is similar to the number in previous years, the obvious conclusion is that many deaths attributed to Covid19 were actually the result of other underlying conditions.

WN&PR does not believe the Covid19 virus represents a fulfillment to Bible Prophecy. Despite the panic and frenzy, the pandemic wasn’t one of “Biblical Proportion.”

What is interesting is the effect on the entire world in fear and desperation. The evidence that it is still present is found in jurisdictions where social distancing and mask mandates have been removed. A significant portion of the population is still convinced they must continue in these restrictions.  They are “self-regulating” to stay safe, but only because they have been told that is the only way they can protect themselves and others.

For instance – do you believe that wearing a mask or maintaining a space of 6 feet can prevent a viral infection?  According to Dr. Fauci’s emails to friends, he didn’t!  He clearly stated what many have known – a mask of any type cannot stop a virus that is so small it can only be viewed under a powerful electron microscope.  In other words, it is small enough to easily pass through virtually any mask you can breathe through.

But he and other powerful figures, both medical and political, in their respective leadership positions have forced entire populations – billions of people – to comply with their directive. With no scientific evidence to back up their claims! Like the parents who tell their children “Because I said so, that’s why!”

You may be convinced that wearing a mask does some good.  OK.  That isn’t the point, really.

If Billions of people can be told to do the same thing at the same time with little evidence to fortify the argument, then perhaps we have been transported to a different age. Never has the world seen universal compliance and willingness to do so. If mankind can be moved to uniformly accept silly mandates, what will be the result when the stakes are life and death?

In your Bible, please read Revelation 13, verse 11-17.

This is a chapter about a “beast,” which the Bible defines as a government or leader of government (Daniel 7:23-24).  Think Nations, Kingdoms, and Kings, Presidents, Prime Ministers or other national designations.

The Beast of Revelation 13 is both a Nation or Kingdom and King.  The term “beast” is used interchangeably to represent a Kingdom as well as the leader of that Kingdom. This is shown using the personal pronoun “he” and “him.” (v.5-7)

Much has been written and speculated about the “mark of the beast” mentioned in this chapter. Some have wondered if currently proposed Vaccine Passports will be the mysterious mark.

The concept is there – some businesses and governments have proposed limiting travel or shopping to only those who have been vaccinated.

But the “mark of the beast” is “on the right hand or on their foreheads.”  The mark will be applied to everyone, “small and great, rich and poor, free and slave.”

Unless you have this mark, you will not be allowed to buy or sell. (Revelation 13:17)

Truly, the “mark of the beast” is a life and death proposition.  Revelation 14:9-10 tells us that anyone who “worships the beast. . . and receives his mark … shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God.”

Also notice that “another beast” in Revelation 13:11 appears as a lamb but speaks like the devil.  This is a false religious leader who supports and encourages everyone in the world to worship the first beast, or Government/Kingdom/King.

How could such a religious leader be so convincing?  By the supernatural powers he will wield – with great signs and the power of deception. (v.13-14)

The power of these two beasts will be so great, throughout the entire earth, that unless you obey and comply with their commands, you will not be able to get a job, buy or sell, signified by the “mark” on the right hand, a symbol of work, and it will also be on your forehead, symbolizing how and when you will worship.

The “mark of the beast” is a sign of spiritual affiliation (forehead) and worship of everything represented by this false religion.  Those unwilling worship in the way proscribed by the beast will not be able to get a job and will not be allowed to participate in the marketplace and commerce. Those who chose this path will do so willingly. People will choose compliance because they will be convinced in a spiritual way that it is best! It has worked in the recent Pandemic!

Those who don’t worship the beast will be killed (Revelation 13:15).  But if you DO have the mark of the beast, you will suffer God’s plagues (Revelation 14:9-10).

The only way out – salvation of God, is through the “sealing” of God, and His protection. (Revelation 7:2,3, 14)

The Beast of Revelation has not yet appeared on the scene.  It will be the unholy alliance of a powerful superstate and church which will pretend to represent God. Its leader – the other beast of Revelation 13, will unite and force all mankind to worship in a false church. The power of compliance has already appeared though.

The verdict is in.  The long-awaited result of the trial of former Minneapolis policeman, Derek Chauvin was issued by the Jury at 4 pm Eastern time, April 20.

Mr. Chauvin was convicted of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder, and manslaughter of George Floyd.

Did the officer Chauvin kill George Floyd, or did he die from an overdose of a deadly combination of fentanyl and methamphetamines?  Hennepin County (Minnesota) Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker initially ruled (August 2020) that there was no “physical evidence suggesting that Mr. Floyd died of asphyxiation,” and that Floyd’s fentanyl levels were “pretty high,” and potentially fatal.

While initial videography seemed to show the officer was kneeling on Mr. Floyd’s neck, later videos showed that the kneeling restraint was also on his back.

George Floyd’s death was tragic.  Immediately after the arrest and the death of Mr. Floyd, last May, many media outlets and commentators claimed that Floyd’s death was the product of systemic racism within the country.

The next conclusion was that police departments across the country needed to be “de-funded,” and the subsequent burning of police buildings, and eventually government buildings were deemed as natural extensions of the public response to the racism across the nation.

How do we know America is racist?  Because we have been told so by the media.  And by political leaders.  They also told us police officer Brian Sicknick was bludgeoned to death at the Capitol on January 6 with a fire extinguisher, by a raging Trump supporter.  But he wasn’t.  He died of a series of non-related strokes several days later.  The media told us Kentucky teenager Nick Sandmann assaulted a native American in Washington, D.C. several years ago.  But he hadn’t.  He received a healthy apology from CNN in the form of an out of court settlement.  Sandmann’s real crime was wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap.  He had to be guilty.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi posthumously praised Floyd for sacrificing himself for “justice.”  Was that the aim of Floyd – to become a martyr the day he tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill, for which he was detained after complaint by the offended merchant?

The footage of Air Force veteran Ashley Babbitt, killed at point blank range by a policeman at the Capitol on January 6 is very disturbing.  She was unarmed, and white.  She shouldn’t have entered the building, along with several hundred others who were allowed in by Capitol police.  Five people died at or near the Capitol on January 6, but none were murdered.  There wasn’t an “armed insurrection”, and the name of the police officer who shot Ashley Babbitt has not been identified publicly.  But the media told us it was a “riot” on the “hallowed grounds” of the U.S. Capitol, and Senator Chuck Schumer said it was a “day that will live in infamy” like Pearl Harbor.

If America was guilty of “systemic” racism, as alleged by Maxine Waters, President Biden, and many other political leaders on the left, wouldn’t there be far greater reaction by the white majority of Americans over Ashely Babbitt’s death?  Did anyone claim that the Capitol policeman was a racist because as a black man, he shot an unarmed white woman?

The inconvenient facts are that in America, twice as many white people are killed by policeman every year than blacks.  But white criminals being shot by police doesn’t fit the racial divide narrative of the media and political hucksters.

President Trump was accused by Congresswoman Maxine Waters of inciting a riot on January 6, in his final speech to his supporters when he asked them to “peacefully” remind Congress of their obligation to review the election results.  But she traveled to Minnesota before the Chauvin verdict and demanded that protestors stay in the streets and get “more confrontational,” if a guilty verdict wasn’t delivered.  After a year of rioting and burning down businesses and killing of innocents in the name of “protest” of George Floyd’s death, haven’t we had enough confrontation?

What is really happening in the United States of America? 

Historically, the foundation of the nation has been a respect for the institutions that protect the vital interests of the populace.  States, cities, towns in which the citizenry feel protected thrive.  Fundamental to that safety are the police.  Break down the respect for police and the laws they are sworn to uphold and the people they are to protect, and the results are evident.  Portland, Seattle and other cities have seen dramatic increases in crime that parallel the disrespect for police.

Where in Bible prophecy can we look for a similar condition?  Well, many places.  Let’s examine the ancient prophecy of Micah.

Micah’s message was directed to both the northern Kingdom of Samaria (Israel’s 10 tribes) and Judah to the south.  Who are the descendants of these people?  If Bible prophecy has a modern day application, you have to know who is being addressed.  If you have not researched this topic, click on the following link:

While not much is known about the prophet himself, Micah’s message is clear; the punishment of God comes upon people who know better.  What nation is supposed to be more grounded in the law derived from the Bible, than America?

The message of Micah is a warning to the entire earth as well:

“Hear, all you peoples!
Listen, O earth, and all that is in it! Let the Lord God be a witness against you,
The Lord from His holy temple. ³ For behold, the Lord is coming out of His place; He will come down And tread on the high places of the earth. ⁴ The mountains will melt under Him, And the valleys will split Like wax before the fire, Like waters poured down a steep place.” (Micah 1:2-4)

The introduction of Micah is a summary of the return of Jesus.  We do not know the date of Jesus’ return, but when we see alarming trends within the world, we should take notice and be prepared spiritually.  Make no doubt about it, the message of Micah will eventually be given to the entire world! (Matthew 24:14)

Micah was inspired to warn that all nations – are culpable for their sin.  God Himself says He is a witness to all the injustice among the inhabitants of the earth.  Micah’s message went initially to all the tribes of ancient Israel – the northern Kingdom as well as Judah before their respective captivities of 721 and 605 BC.  These 12 tribes were the ones who were given the 10 Commandments at Mt. Sinai, along with the rest of the codified law to Israel and were intended to become an example of obedience to all nations.

Toward the end of his life, Moses warned the people of Israel of their unique standing among the nations.  They alone had been given great law – statutes and judgments that would protect them, grant them prosperity, and guarantee justice. (Deuteronomy 4:1-9)

It was to their descendants that Micah the prophet of God was sent.  What about the present day?  Are these prophecies relevant for us?  And if so, to whom do they apply?  If we cannot answer that question, then Bible prophecy is irrelevant because we have no beginning point and these writings are simply interesting poetry.

For the last 250 years, three groups of people on the face of the earth have unique and intertwined destinies, the Jewish people, the British Commonwealth of Nations, and the United States.

In consideration of today’s news and the label of racism in America, it is interesting to note that the first two nations of the modern world to outlaw slavery were Great Britain and the United States.  Slavery still abounds in many areas of the world today, most notably China, where millions of Uighurs, Christians and Islamists are imprisoned in slave labor camps.  While President Biden declined to disapprove of this Chinese practice recently, his envoy in Alaska was strictly rebuked by their Chinese counterparts for “systemic American racism.”  Today’s American leaders have ceded the moral high ground to a nation that is known for its practice of harvesting organs from live donors, imprisoning dissidents from Hong Kong, and is on the verge, apparently, of invading Taiwan.

To the leaders of the nation God entrusted His law; to those who have striven for power in the United States of America, whether in the political, business, or media realm – hear this – the message of Micah – and GOD is to YOU!

You may not have been rebuked by your colleagues.  You may think you are above the law yourselves, but you are mistaken.  The prophecy of Micah thunders at you;

“Hear now, O heads of Jacob, And you rulers of the house of Israel: Is it not for you to know justice? 2 You who hate good and love evil; Who strip the skin from My people,

And the flesh from their bones; 3 Who also eat the flesh of My people, Flay their skin from them, Break their bones, And chop them in pieces Like meat for the pot, Like flesh in the caldron.” (Micah 3:1-3)

How have you done this; you may ask?  God is asking you how could you not know right from wrong? If you are guilty of taking bribes, if you are guilty of obscuring the facts and the truth, if you are profiting from the pain and suffering of others, then you are warned.  If you don’t repent and change, God says He will not hear the cry of your suffering later. (Micah 3:4)

Make no doubt about it – the people and the leaders of modern Israel – the English-speaking nations of the world, and modern-day Judah, the middle east democratic state of Israel are at prophetic crossroads.  The warnings of Micah are meant for them!

Our nation’s churches and ministers are not blasting out this message.  But they should be! 

Finally, one third of the book of Micah details the events of the first and second coming of Jesus Christ.  In HIS kingdom, there will be righteousness.  Note the end of the prophecy, where mankind comes to repentance on an international scale;

“The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might; They shall put their hand over their mouth; Their ears shall be deaf. 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent; They shall crawl from their holes like snakes of the earth. They shall be afraid of the Lord our God And shall fear because of You. 18 Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy. 19 He will again have compassion on us And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea. 20 You will give truth to Jacob And mercy to Abraham, Which You have sworn to our fathers From days of old.” (Micah 7:16-20)

During the Presidential debate of the 2020 campaign, candidate Joe Biden said.

“What I would do as president is several more things because things have changed. I would, in fact, make sure that there is, we immediately surge to the border — all those people are seeking asylum, they deserve to be heard. That’s who we are. We’re a nation who says, if you want to flee, and you’re freeing oppression, you should come.”

Message received.  From Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and other parts of Central America, tens of thousands of illegal immigrants have crossed the American border.  Many of them are neither oppressed nor seeking asylum. Some are, but regardless, access has been granted to all crossing the porous border.  They are being processed, placed in holding facilities designed for hundreds but now occupied by multiple thousands.  given cash and airline and bus tickets to throughout the United States.

Good luck to those who patiently waited in line, and legally applied for American citizenship.  Lawful entry into America is now immaterial.  The “line” has been “jumped.”

Until January, traffic stops at Border Control facilities in Arizona and New Mexico, on or near Interstate 10 served as passive deterrents to illegal immigration and drug trafficking.  They are no longer operational.

As of this writing, between 20-30,000 unaccompanied minors have crossed the border.   You may have seen the video (linked below), which features a 10-year-old boy who traveled with a group of 180 from Nicaragua but was abandoned once they entered South Texas.  An off-duty Border Patrol agent found him and took him to the Donna, Texas facility where thousands of children are being housed.

The video is heart breaking, as is the surveillance video of sisters, age 3 and 5, literally dumped over a 17-foot fence by “coyotes.”  Thankfully, they were unharmed and rescued by Border Patrol agents.

Why is this happening?  Some Bible students may be reminded of a relatively obscure prophecy in Deuteronomy 28:43: “The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower.  44 He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.”

Whether this recent wave of illegal immigration is part of this prophecy, perhaps more important are the consequences and tragedy associated with a change in policy from the previous administration.

Some of the illegal storming of our border are from people who think their lives will be better than the Central American nation they came from.  Many are being manipulated by the drug cartels and sold into virtual slavery once they make it to the United States.  Cartels own “legitimate” businesses on the American side of the border.  Some helped by the drug lords are forced to pay for safe passage through Mexico, and then become virtual indentured servants once they arrive in America. Many young women and young children of both genders have been sexually abused on their way to the United States.  The darkest side are the reports of young children being sold into pedophile rings, never to be heard from again.

For the drug cartels, human trafficking is big business, as they have been taking in $14 million per day.

It’s not just the United States facing illegal immigration.  Europe is also once again besieged with immigrants from the Middle East and Africa.

It may reflect a grand design, first enunciated in a 2001 United Nations White Paper, which advocated for over 600 million to migrate to the United States by 2050 and 160 million to Europe by 2025.  If you’re an American or European citizen, you’ve never been asked your opinion of this scheme by the United Nations, have you?

Not all those who have entered the country illegally are from Central America.  Some from Middle Eastern countries, with known terrorist links, have been detained by Immigration and Border Patrol.  But how many have evaded detection? 

Whether the current and likely future illegal immigration is specific fulfilment of prophecy or not, it does signal a continual disrespect, by leaders in our nation to uphold our current immigration law.  Without borders, America, as a nation of law will cease to exist.  At the very least the signal sent to 3^rd world Central American nations is America is open to you.

Perhaps expanded illegal immigration is simply a part of prophecy to the modern descendants of the tribes of Israel.  The recurring theme throughout the Major and Minor prophets is warning for departing from God and His Law, and punishment for disobedience.  Prior to the Declaration of Independence in 1776, no other nation had claimed the Bible and God as the inspiration for its Constitution.

Lamentations 5:2 “Our inheritance has been turned over to aliens, And our houses to foreigners.”

America has been a wealthy nation but has squandered its wealth on useless foreign wars, and many of its leaders have failed to acknowledge God as the source of national wealth.  Ezekiel mentions the people of “Israel” and “Jacob” over 180 times, indicating these people are the subject of the overall prophecy.  The many warnings certainly do have application to our modern times.

What is your individual responsibility?  As individuals we are not in position to change the errant policies of our nation.  But you can pray!

Ezekiel 9:4: and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

Those who recognize and grieve over the wrongdoing of our age are blessed and protected.

The illegal influx of multiple thousands flocking to our nation, entering illegally, will burden the already overtaxed social welfare system, result in more crime with deceptive, bad actors and take advantage of unwitting innocent people from the third world.

You can pray for them, for the little boy crying in South Texas, and for the multitude of problems that are growing, beginning at our Southern borders.

“Who Do You Trust” was an American television game show hosted by Johnny Carson from 1958 until he replaced Jack Paar as host of the Tonight Show in 1962. But its also a question many Americans, and citizens of other countries may be asking.

For a year now, we’ve been told we are in the midst of the “greatest Pandemic in modern history.” The news has been filled with case numbers, infection rates and daily, weekly, monthly death tolls. In order to combat the Wuhan virus, extreme measures have been enacted all over the world. Businesses have been shut down, many of them small and family owned. Many will never recover.

To “slow the spread” of Covid19, we’ve been asked, and then ordered, for a few weeks, then months, to practice “social distancing,” wear masks; stay home, not go to work or school, in order to halt the progression of Covid19, a disease that may be a bit worse than the seasonal flu.

In late December, 2020, statistics kept by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) showed about the same number of deaths by overall count and by percentage of 100,00 in population, comparing 2020 to 2019. If we were actually in the “worst Pandemic of modern times,” wouldn’t the overall number of deaths be far higher? As of this writing, though, that information has been removed from the CDC website. The CDC also posted information late last year that indicated that only a fraction of Covid-19 related deaths were by causation. Many died “having” Covid-19, but death was by other means. The CARES ACT in the United States granted money to hospitals when patient cases and deaths were identified as Covid-19. Sometimes testing wasn’t necessary, only a list of symptoms such as coughing and fever, which is true of many illnesses. It became a money grab of epic proportions.

Why isn’t this widely known and publicized? If the public knew this, panic would subside, most would conclude there is no justification for continual shutdowns, social distancing or mask wearing. Governments of the world have new found power in controlling their populations. A year ago, the Chinese Wuhan virus was an unknown. With the unknown is doubt and fear. Now that there is “pandemic fatigue,” new means to control must be instituted. But why has this happened universally, all around the world?

The Apostle Paul warned there is a “prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.” (Ephesians 2:2) This is the devil — Satan. And his broadcast has its greatest influence among the disobedient and lawless. His broadcast is in the world today, and his influence will grow as our populations are moved further away from belief in God, and are more trusting in men and the governments of the world.

So, who do you trust? Do you trust the media? Do you trust governments? Do you trust the big tech autocrats that control the flow of information we receive? All these entities want to control your thoughts, your mind, your actions and attitude because with control there is power.

Some of the sternest indictments in Bible prophecy are reserved for those who lead others astray. Many end time pronouncements in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and the “Minor Prophets” are directed toward the ruling class of our day. These dire predictions apply to all those modern day “influencers” who have abandoned the founding principles of the last two Empires — the British Empire and the United States of America. Both are grouped under the heading of their shared ancient ancestry. Often they are referred to collectively as “Jacob,” or “Joseph” (and since Jacob blessed Joseph’s sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, his sons names also appear many times in Prophecy).

Get out your Bible and read the forecast for the descendants of Israel and Judah in the book of Amos. Some of Amos’ prophecy has been fulfilled anciently, but some will be repeated in the time of the end, and much of it has yet to be fulfilled. Amos 5 describes a coming captivity of the people of Samaria, (the 10 tribes of Israel). This chapter describes the problems of the “Notable persons in the chief nation.” They cause the problems to come upon the nation — and they have no care for its demise. Amos was inspired to write that they would be the first to go into captivity! (Amos 5:7) Amos said they were responsible and profiting from the decline (verses 3-6) but were not grieved for the affliction of the nation.

The fulfillment of this chapter may well have already begun. In the past year, many wealthy, many powerful, many modern day influencers have gained power and wealth. The shutdown of the economies of the world have actually benefited many huge multi-national corporations while also helping to shutdown the world’s largest economy in the United States.

The fall of the United States has been a long time goal of many within the United Nations, the World Economic Forum and other societies rooted in the formation of “World Government.” Their dream of the establishment of control over the populations of the earth are simply not possible with a powerful United States economy, military and a nation that was in the midst of the rediscovery of its own dynamic roots, and with many of its population swelling with patriotic fever, as has been the case for the past four years.

We don’t know how far away the horrific pronouncements of Amos are — poverty, death on a massive scale in the nations of Jacob and the ultimate captivity of whole nations. To the leaders of this nation, God thunders out the warning: “For I know your manifold transgressions And your mighty sins: Afflicting the just and taking bribes; Diverting the poor from justice at the gate.” (Amos 5:12) This is happening in our nation today! This is the present of the United States of America!

What can you do to escape these perilous times? “Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the LORD God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken, Hate evil, love good; Establish justice in the gate. It may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.”

In other words, you have it within your power and ability to live a godly life, respecting the law of God and living it! Wherever you have the power to do good — do it! Study the word of God to understand your responsibility in these present evil times, and for the future ahead. The Devil is pictured in the Bible as a roaring lion, roaming about this earth looking for those who can devour –deceive and destroy. (I Peter 5:8-9)

Who do you trust? Be careful. Think and review everything from the perspective of the Laws of the Bible. May God bless you and protect you from the evil of this world!

In this column WN&PR, recounts the story of one of America’s most famous battles of WWII, with the story of 2 brothers from Southern Arizona. It is also a story about America’s rise to power in the latter half of the 20th Century, in fulfillment of Bible Prophecy]

Dave Lowell, of Rio Rico, Arizona, is probably the greatest explorer of the 20th century. Mr. Lowell passed away May, 2020 at the age of 92. Unless you are a geology or mining buff, or University of Arizona graduate, he is probably unknown to you.

Through the latter half of the 20th Century, Dave Lowell personally discovered more copper ore — billions of ounces of the metal, a precious resource that helped fuel the recovery of the industrialized world. He became wealthy as a consultant to dozens of mining companies.

George Davis, of the University of Arizona Department of Geosciences wrote of Lowell:

“Ore deposit discoveries for which he is solely credited are Kalamazoo, Vekol, and Casa Grande (Arizona); Los Calatos, Pierina, and Toromocho (Peru); Escondida and Zaldívar (Chile); Mirador (Ecuador); and Alto Paraná (Paraguay). Lowell discoveries made with contributions of others include Bajo Alumbrera (Argentina); Dizon (Phillippines); JA Orebody (Canada); San Cristobal and Leonor (Chile); and Warintza (Equador). “He has personally discovered more copper than anyone in history and developed multibillion-dollar gold and copper mines that have changed the economies of nations,” says Joaquin Ruiz.”

“Mark Barton, Co-Director of the Lowell Institute for Mineral Resources and Professor of Geosciences writes, “Dave was the most successful explorer of the last 60 years, having discovered, or co-discovered at least 12 major ore bodies that have become major mines including the world’s largest copper district, Escondida (Chile). Not only an explorer, he made major contributions to the science, notably through his synthesis and applications of alteration zoning in porphyry copper systems. These concepts, first expressed in his 1970 paper with John Guilbert, are key in the exploration of porphyry copper deposits and have been applied by generations of geologists worldwide. Dave captured his experiences in ‘The Intrepid Explorer’ and later summed up his career as a contrarian explorer as the Lacy Distinguished Lecturer at the University of Arizona in 2013.” “

Dave Lowell became very successful. But without the work of his older brother Dave, and thousands of others involved in the war effort, he wouldn’t have become so accomplished. Dave and his wife Edith, donated tens of millions of dollars to the University of Arizona School of Mining and Athletic Departments.

Bill Lowell, Dave Lowell’s older brother, played on the 1942 University of Arizona football team — the last team fielded by the University until after the war. Bill was also a track and field star, becoming Conference Champion in the shot put. But after that 1942 season, Bill, along with some teammates, became champions in something else.

Saving the world.

Iwo Jima, an island 750 miles off the Japanese mainland was site of one the most famous battles of WWII. 70,000 Marines landed in the amphibious assault, including 2nd Lieutenant Bill Howell, a member of the newly formed 5th Marines division.

History records a less than expected resistance from the Japanese forces — initially. But soon after, those in this Pacific “D” Day invasion found out the reason; the 22,000 Japanese troops were well dug in, literally, and could move around the island through an intricate series of tunnels and caves, in some areas two or three stories beneath the surface. The month-long battle is often referred to as one of the fiercest of WWII. Many of the Japanese troops were hidden, and were able to confront the landed marines in unexpected positions. The raising of the American flag on Mount Suribachi would become a symbol of American will and bravery. Several weeks into the conflict, Bill Lowell, only 22 years old, was killed in action.

After the war, Dave Lowell played football for one season, 1945, playing on an undefeated 5-0 Wildcat team in a shortened campaign. A geology professor took him aside and suggested that Lowell’s real future might lie in the mining industry. A great piece of advice!

One of the Lowell’s gifts to the University of Arizona was a $2.5 million donation to build a practice gymnasium for the volleyball and basketball teams. Lowell’s lone request was the inclusion of a Memorial to honor Bill and two other teammates from the 1942 team who died in battles of WWII, Rue Mattice and Stanley Petropolis.

This was the “Greatest Generation.” They saved the world from the grip of tyranny, and then went to work, rebuilding the nation, and the world. Bill Lowell’s sacrifice made possible his brother Dave’s success.

Micah 5:7-13 is a prophecy of the end time prowess, power and majesty of the descendants of the Biblical patriarch Jacob:

“Then the remnant of Jacob Shall be in the midst of many peoples, Like dew from the Lord, Like showers on the grass, That tarry for no man Nor wait for the sons of men. “

This prophecy shows the rise to prominence of Jacob’s descendants, more powerful and prosperous than any other nation, but also a blessing to all nations as well. This perfectly describes the English speaking people of the 20th Century, as Americans, Canadians, British, Australians, New Zealanders, along with other allies, combined to defeat despotism over 100 years in two major World Wars.

⁸ And the remnant of Jacob Shall be among the Gentiles, In the midst of many peoples, Like a lion among the beasts of the forest, Like a young lion among flocks of sheep, Who, if he passes through, Both treads down and tears in pieces, And none can deliver. ⁹ Your hand shall be lifted against your adversaries, And all your enemies shall be cut off.”

A key phrase is “Who, if he passes through.” America and the British Commonwealth of Nations didn’t oppress the rest of the world, but when the fight came, these nations, and brave men like Bill Lowell knew their only recourse was to preserve liberty at all costs!

World News & Prophecy Report pays tribute to the brave generations of men and women who have defended freedom, and in the process enabled mankind access to progress and development into the 21st Century. But Bible Prophecy also shows that the blessings enjoyed by our people are in danger of being removed!

¹⁰ “And it shall be in that day,” says the Lord, “That I will cut off our horses from your midst And destroy your chariots. ¹¹ I will cut off the cities of your land And throw down all your strongholds. ¹² I will cut off sorceries from your hand, And you shall have no soothsayers. ¹³ Your carved images I will also cut off, And your sacred pillars from your midst; You shall no more worship the work of your hands;“

Are we close to the fulfillment of this part of the prophecy of Micah? If so, the duty of those who read these words is to look to God.

Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. ⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon“

IF the descendants of Jacob are indeed the English speaking people of the earth, and IF you believe these nations and people have been abundantly blessed by God, but are now losing their way — as an individual, you can seek God — while he may be found!

In the latter half of the first century AD, Peter sent a second letter to the Church of God located in Northern Galatia. 

To these members, Peter gave important advice about Bible Prophecy: (2 Peter 1:19)

“And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”

Peter urged his readers to heed words spoken by the Holy Prophets. Biblical prophecies provide a guide to the future, their revelation being more relevant as the events unfold. He also explained the Prophets did not provide personal interpretation. They were moved by the power of God’s Holy Spirit, speaking exactly as they were moved by God.

All of us would do well to heed them as a light in a world of darkness – guiding, encouraging, inspiring us prior to Christ’s return.

If you are reading this report, you very likely believe in God’s revelation of the future. You believe that Bible Prophecy is a proof of God’s existence.

Much of Prophecy is still to be fulfilled. Jesus warned His disciples of one of the most important trends of end time Bible Prophecy — Deception! In His famous “Olivet Prophecy” came the warning of worldwide subterfuge. “Take heed that no one deceives you.” (Matthew 24:4) “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many” (Matthew 24:11) “For false Christ’s and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonder to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:24) In the grandest overview of the events leading up to Jesus return, He outlined the grave warning of a dark cloud obscuring truth. For those who are aware, the prophetic words of the Holy Prophets help us understand one of the greatest dangers of the “latter,” or “end” times — being deceived.

No one wants to be deceived. To help evaluate what is happening in a world that is rapidly moving to the condition of deception, lets examine the future through the perspective of advice given to one of the Apostle Paul’s most trusted students; Timothy. Paul wrote 2 letters to Timothy, with several prophetic references; 1 Timothy 4:1-5, 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

Paul’s admonition and encouragement to a young minister is applicable to those of us who live in the “latter times.” Following are 3 points to help you evaluate the world and the events that you are living in.

1. Abnormal Conditions: End time Bible Prophecy alerts us to conditions in the world that are far from the ordinary.  Prophecy helps us understand the abnormal from the norm that we have experienced all our lives,

Bible Prophecy reveals the future as extraordinary. It may seem so far from the ordinary, the Biblical outcome seems highly questionable.

2. Projection: Projection is a term that modern psychology uses to describe how we tend to attribute our own tendencies to others. We may very well be observant of events in the news and what is happening in the world. But “good” people may find it difficult to understand the world as it really is. People that frame the world with the foundation of law and order are used to accountability. But the world is changing, and you should be careful in projecting your “goodness” or expectation that things will “work out.”

In YOUR case, projection may be a good thing because it identifies you as a good person.   You obey the law.  You love the law.  You play by the rules.  You like fairness, and for many of our readers, this is the American ideal.  So, it may be difficult for you to grasp how evil the world really is. 

As a good person, you want rational, logical explanations to the events of the world. To understand Bible Prophecy you need to comprehend the illogic of abnormal human behavior. As deception grows in the world it means you MUST begin to think differently, if you haven’t already started.

As a good person, you may project your good, Godly nature to others. Could your “goodness” make understanding the vile, abnormal aspect of evil difficult? Maybe.

There is an antidote and help for “good projection” which is covered below. But in order for the antidote to be effective you need to be aware of your own skepticism, or failure to see evil and wrong – especially when it does not seem to affect you in a personal way. You may not have any interaction with world leaders. Nonetheless, their actions do affect you. It is essential to evaluate leaders in the world. There are hundreds of references to the harmful motivation and ambitions of worldly leaders in the Bible, especially as it relates to future events.

For you to react properly to the unfolding events of Bible Prophecy, you must evaluate events as God does — understand things the way they really are – even if they do not seem affect you personally.

There is another side of projection you should be aware of. Evil people impugn their wrong motives to the lives of the people they hate.  They have no problem believing their opponents are filled with wrong motivation because that reflects their own vicious evil ways and lives. They suspect and accuse innocent people of their wrong motives.  You need to understand the motivation of evil people in the “time of the end.”

Evil people assume their own evil motives onto the lives of their foes, their enemies, especially when their foes are righteous.

3. Moral Relativity: A dangerous assumption is the assignment of “moral relativity” to those you see in public life. In its simplest form, it is the assumption that “both sides are wrong.” In the American 2 party political system, there is an increasing distinction between right and wrong, freedom of speech and censorship and individual rights versus the “common good.” Look for these distinctions because it helps understand the rapidly changing world. In the future, Paul explained to Timothy that evil would gain the upper hand — a huge departure from the history of the United States; “But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:13) When evil men are the only leaders in government, media and business, prophetic events will quickly cascade. Isaiah the Prophet was inspired to see this very time — when men or honor would be replaced by vile and unrighteous leadership. (Isaiah 3:3-1-5, 9:14-16)

Are there many people and leaders who believe in law, order and decency? Of course! It is up to you to discern the difference. Isaiah and Paul both warned of those in leadership positions who could wield enough influence to become modern day change agents for evil!

Let’s review:

1. Bible Prophecy reveals abnormal conditions.
2. Understand Projection – both ways in evaluating the world around you.
3. Be careful in assigning moral relativity to opposing points of view. Logically, if one side opposes law and order and one protects freedom, law and order, there is no moral relativity.

A Prophecy of the New Testament that incorporates these elements is found in Paul’s first letter to Timothy:

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

What could be more abnormal than this? As fantastic as it sounds, Paul’s prophecy warned that some would leave the truth, the faith of God, and instead pursue teachings and doctrines of demonic beings. Remember Christ’s admonition that the “elect of God,” would be targeted for deception. (Matthew 24:24)

Paul referred to the mechanism by which these false teachings and doctrines would be inspired in the minds of men — by the “prince of the power of the air,” — Satan — in attitudes that are broadcast as emotional impulses. Even as we cannot see the air we breathe, these attitudes are invisible — spiritual in nature — and share the commonality of hating good, law, order and decency. (Ephesians 2:2)

Paul continued, in 1 Timothy 4:2: “speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,”

Although the passage can apply to religious leaders, it is clear from the writings of Isaiah, and many other Prophets, that any who hold leadership positions in a society can lead others astray. In recent months we have seen many leaders have issue edicts and mandates to their citizens that they ignore. They impose emergency declarations under the guise of protecting those they are to serve, but they have no intention of being obedient to their own mandates! They are lying hypocrites!

The projection of the unrighteous and their vile, scheming ways are clearly visible to anyone who is paying attention.

Your parents may have jokingly said; “do as I say, not as I do,” but those that believe that the “end justifies the means,” tell you to behave in a certain way, but their motivation is to control not protect.

Paul then went on to explain several other abnormal, hard to believe prophecies.

1 Timothy 4:3: “forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; 5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.”

In the first century, this may have been fulfilled by the introduction of Gnostic philosophy, specifically the subset of Asceticism or, denial. Marriage is good. Will there come a time in which some forbid it? Abnormal and hard to believe, but when you see it, you’ll remember Paul’s prophecy.

Timothy knew that meat was good — if it was clean, as defined by Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14. Timothy’s mother was Jewish, his father was Greek, but he knew which foods were to be received with thanksgiving in prayer. As this article was being written, former Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates, proclaimed that Americans must change their dietary preferences to “synthetic meat,” in order to fight “climate change.”

WN&PR has no personal animus toward Bill Gates, one of the wealthiest people in the world, but when did he become an expert on virtually every aspect of modern life? Why should his opinion on diet, vaccines, modern industry be listened to? Yet he wields, by the power of his fabulous wealth, incredible influence on the world scene. He lectures and provides financing for various vaccinations in the 3rd world, yet many of them have failed and many have died or been maimed by his vaccination programs. Should we listen to gurus who lecture us on our eating habits, and climate change while they deem it necessary to flit around the world in private jets, ignoring their own calls for the elimination of fossil fuels?

Of course, Bill Gates is not alone as a secular prophet of gloom and doom — there are many others. The Bible warns us to beware of these and to highly question and examine their motivation.

The Antidote

Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 10:16: “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”

It is very likely that we are in an age where “wolves” will dominate. It is not God’s purpose that you attack the wolves. But you must be aware of them. You must be WISE. Study the Bible to understand wisdom. (Proverbs 1:2) Ask God for the wisdom to know the difference and He will give it to you! (James 1:5-6)

Do not be innocent sheep projecting your goodness onto evil men and women.

Bible Prophecy does reveal the abnormal conditions of the world at the end of the age. Read and study the verses quoted in this report. Ask God for the wisdom to understand the Bible, and the age in which we live, and He will give it to you!
