Bible Prophecy in the 21st Century

(January 27, 2023) Americans and many citizens of the Western World have come to expect advancement in medical science as a fait accompli — a sure thing.  Scientific discovery was one of the magical trends of the 20th Century, affecting nearly every facet of daily life.  It continued into the 21st Century as well.

Advancement in medical science was indeed real in the last 50 years and undoubtedly contributed to confidence that our systems were progressive in a real sense.

Also, a “given” was the acknowledgement that since the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945, man and his governments would do everything possible to avert nuclear holocaust.

Now though, over 20 years into the 21st Century, the world is once again perched on the precipice of World War — even Nuclear War with the Ukraine conflict.

For many months more evidence has revealed the Covid-19 Pandemic as a planned event.  Also clear is the “cure” — mass vaccination — was planned years in advance, by the same mad scientists who created “gain of function” amalgamation of “bat viruses” as well as components of HIV, among other infections.

Courageous physicians and scientists such as Dr. Robert Malone (creator of MRNA technology, the backbone of Covid-19 vaccines) Dr. Michael Yeadon (former VP of Pfizer), Dr. Robert McCullough, among many others have exposed the virtual medical coup of the entire world!

These and other truth tellers have been the target of character assassination, de-listing, firings, and having their medical licenses revoked.  It is almost impossible to find anything complimentary about them in internet searches, or anyone else who has spoken out about Covid-19 vaccines.

Project Veritas an independent “watchdog” group, released a video several days ago in which a Pfizer Pharmaceutical executive reveals that Pfizer has been engaged or is planning on gain of function research in order to make more potent viruses by injecting live monkeys with Covid-19 to see if these viruses can “mutate” further or “evolve.”  What is the purpose for even more virulent viruses, if not to attempt to profit off the eventual “solution” to the problem they created in the first place?

Big Pharma, Ukraine and World War 3

What do these seemingly diverse topics have in common?  They share a commonality of action based on massive lies and deceptions in our modern age.

Each fraud has been foisted on an unsuspecting public by evil political, scientific leaders and technocrats.  Their affiliation is not a loose association.

Dr. Anthony Fauci of the NIH boldly predicted a massive pandemic in January 2017.  How could he know?  His agency was the origin of gain of function research, funding Covid research at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  this research was moved to Wuhan, China, but still funded by our government! But that isn’t all.  At the same time, the NIH was funding the research for Covid vaccines.  First at the University of Texas School of Medicine, Galveston.  But these vaccines actually killed ALL animal subjects.  Incredibly, these vaccines were known to be useless long before Covid-19 made appearance in Wuhan or the rest of the world.

Why would “they” do this, knowing the ineffectiveness of the original Covid vaccines?  The vaccine makers, given automatic immunity from litigation, have raked in hundreds of Billions of dollars in profits in the past two years.  Then there are the royalty payments to the holders of patents related to Covid vaccines.  Do you think anyone who has profited so generously will give any of the vast windfall associated with these medications back?

The Covid-19 pandemic was a planned event, not accidental.  Also not coincidental was access of companies to vaccine discovery from the Federal government, already in place before Covid hit American shores.  All that was necessary was for the declaration of Emergency Use Authority, skipping the basic, fundamental standard of Phase 1, 2 and 3 trials to assure safety of the medication.

The only “trials” conducted were the initial ones with human subjects and the results were so horrible in terms of side effects and death that Pfizer’s attorneys tried to have the results SEALED for 75 years!  A brave Federal Judge issued a ruling that the results had to be released and the results were so shocking, Pfizer and other vaccine makers have tried to suppress the information with their willing partners in Big Tech and Government.  All have done their best to keep the information under wraps.

The vaccines were known by the manufacturers to have no effect in reduction of transmission of Covid-19, and in fact have contributed to the ongoing mutation of the original disease through “viral shedding” from the vaccinated, resulting in odd new variants of the original!

After a year of the greatly feared Covid-19 Pandemic, the death rate worldwide was not changed, year over year, or even going back in time for a decade.  But the fear ginned up by the media and governments around the world would have led to the belief that millions more must have died from January 2020 to January 2021.  Not so.  Of course, many did die, mostly elderly during the initial outbreak.  But it’s also true that from 60 to 90,000 die in the United States each year from flu.

Agencies in the United Kingdom report an increase of 26% increase in death since vaccine introduction.  Australia reports a 22% increase in heart attacks.  The increase in all nations that report miscarriages, death of young children, death of young adults, the odd “sudden death syndrome” with allegedly no cause associated, myocarditis, and many other serious health issues show an exponential rise from the time of vaccine introduction.  Covid-19, the Pandemic has been the most massive scam and coverup in the history of mankind.

Ukraine and Nuclear War?

In evaluating the ongoing war in Ukraine, the same sales job has been attempted, as in Covid; American intervention is necessary and must be immediate; we must spend vast sums to halt Russia, the enemy.  We must sacrifice to the tune of Billions of US dollars.  And now, like the 15 days to “stop the spread,” the goalposts of American intervention have changed from assisting Ukranian resistance (while encouraging the Russian invasion by inviting NATO membership for Ukraine) to “retaking the Crimea” which has always been considered Russian territory.

The insane war planners in the United States State Department, White House and CIA have floated the possibility of the use of “contained” or “tactical” nuclear weapons.  How crazy is it to contemplate “limited” use of the most powerful and destructive force of human history?

What has happened to our world and what explains the intended destruction of the lives of millions of innocents by the leaders of the world?

It’s really pretty simple.  Revelation 12 is a revelation of prophecy and history.  At the time of John’s writing, the event of Satan’s rebellion and being cast out of heaven had already happened.  (Revelation 12:9) Other points in the chapter are prophetic — the Devil’s attack on the people of God. (Revelation 12:10-12) Because he knows his time is short, his rage upon all mankind is steadily increasing.  As the “prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2) his murderous, insane attitude is being broadcast powerfully to those who do not respect law, order and moral values taught in the Holy Bible.

We do not know where the Ukrainian conflict lead in terms of Bible prophecy.  What is incumbent upon all of us is the “watch and pray,”(Luke 21:34) for all those affected, asking that God’s will be done. (Matthew 6:9-10)

(January 19, 2023) Davos, Switzerland, in the heart of Europe, high in the Alps, is the site of the annual meeting of business and political leaders from all over the world.  The Davos retreat was the brainchild of World Economic Forum founder, Klaus Schwab.  The conference has been in place since the founding of the organization by Schwab, in 1971.

Earlier this week, thousands of attendees descended on the small Swiss town to discuss their vision for the world with Schwab and his friends. The question is why?

The World Economic Forum, and Schwab believe they are best equipped to rule the world and make decisions for everyone.  In last year’s keynote address, Schwab declared:

“The future is not just happening. The future is BUILT, by US. By a powerful community, as you here, in this room.”

Schwab has openly bragged about the number of political leaders from around the world who are part of his globalist elite influencers, which include Justin Trudeau of Canada, and “most of his cabinet,” Jacinda Arden of New Zealand (recently announcing her resignation, probably to avoid embarrassment because she was going to lose in a landslide in the next election).  These and many other political leaders have been part of Schwab’s “Young Global Leaders” group.

Schwab of course, is infamous for his stated goals for humankind, which include a vast reduction in human population, a “world without borders,” control of all government health policies (of all nations, through the World Health Organization, thus the presence of WHO Director, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, at Davos) control of the world climate and establishment of universal standard of living where “you will own nothing and be happy.”

No kidding.

Why The Goals of the World Economic Forum will Fail.

Yes, the WEF itself is doomed to failure, eventually.  Klaus Schwab, George Soros, Bill Gates, Larry Fink and many other Billionaires do indeed shape global policy on a grand scale.  The imprint of the WEF isn’t always visible on world events, but that is how they, and others in the background like it.  They are satisfied that they can bring about their policies by having elected leaders of sovereign nations do their bidding.  But their end goal is to eliminate nation states and rule over the entire earth as “Masters of the future.”

Thus, the scale of Pandemic lockdowns by the leaders of Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Great Britain and the United States was an advancement of Schwab’s agenda and emphasized as vital in his book Covid-19 The Great Reset.

While Schwab and his cohorts emphasize the need for everyone else to eliminate the use of fossil fuels, “go green,” and not eat meat, the airport near Davos is swamped with hundreds of private jets that bring the global elite to their annual meeting.  So much for reducing “carbon footprint.” Plenty of private limousines whisk the participants off to lavish dinners and banquets, and you can bet Schwab and his buddies are not “eating ze bugs,” as he once declared was his plan for all the rest of us.

Schwab’s grander vision in his “great reset” includes making everyone on the planet poor and controlled.  Of course, any society needs leadership, and if you guessed it might be Schwab and friends, you are correct!

In his opening remarks this year, Schwab once again promoted his Great Reset nonsense, along with the virtues of worldwide collectivism to world leaders. “We are confronted with so many crises simultaneously,” Schwab said.  “What does it need to master the future? I think to have a platform where all stakeholders of society are engaged – governments, business, civil societies, the young generation…I think is the first step to meet all the challenges,” Klaus Schwab said.

Translation?  We can only “master” the future when enough of the population is compliant with our agenda.  In his book Schwab acknowledges that he and his minions must be ready for “an angry world.”  For sure, if he has his way, billions are going to be angry.  The only way that anger can be addressed is the totalitarian future that the World Economic Forum envisions and the power to force everyone to submit to their whims.

But troubling for Schwab and his merry band of globalist henchmen at this year’s conference has been the preponderance of independent journalists who have not been afraid to ask tough questions.  Particularly of Schwab and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla.  When Bourla was asked by Rebel News when he knew his company’s Covid vaccines didn’t stop transmission, Bourla was stone faced with no comment.  Pfizer and Moderna, the companies with the largest footprint in Covid vaccinations, have made hundreds of Billions of dollars from medications that were rushed into production, with no animal testing, have been colossal failures in preventing transmission of the disease and suddenly thousands of deaths and injuries are the clearly the result of the Covid vaccines.  When Schwab was approached by a Japanese journalist for a comment, he couldn’t flee fast enough when he found out she was an independent writer.

Such is the hubris of the global leaders of the New World Order.  Over 20 years ago, Al Gore solemnly proclaimed that New York city would be under 10 feet of water by 2010 because of the melting polar caps.  But today, there are still as many glaciers on earth, 200,000, as in 1948, the year Al Gore was born.  But in an epic rant a few days ago in Davos, Gore fumed that the oceans were “boiling because of global warming.”  It was just words, of course, no citation of fact, no data to back up his raving.  He further gushed that more should be done to limit the discussion that global warming wasn’t real.

If there is a silver lining to the spotlight on the Davos love fest among totalitarian elites in 2023, it is that many are seeing that these self-important, self-proclaimed share and stake holders in the future of the world are phony hypocrites.  Their vision of a dystopian future with a reduction of the world’s population by 90% is bleak and ungodly.  The totalitarian aspect of the future, envisioned by Schwab and others will come true — their plans are laid out in their White papers from their organization, the World Health Organization, the United Nations and other affiliated groups.  Their call for massive digitization of identities, currencies and enforced mandates of the entire earth are hinted at within the pages of the Bible.

What is missing within what they have accomplished so far is the inclusion of religion.  Though they do worship humanism and have a transhuman vision of the future, most of the Davos group are pretty much anti-religious.  Which explains their focus on their own goals, which parallel the attitude of mankind right after the great Worldwide Flood of Genesis 6-7.

After the flood, it is apparent that it was God’s intention that there be separate nations (Genesis 10:5).  When man attempted the first “one world government,” at Babylon, God scattered mankind over the earth by confusing their language. (Genesis 11)

The Great and Future Babylon

Among many Bible prophecies, Revelation 13 describes a massive final human Kingdom upon the earth prior to the return of Jesus Christ.  While Klaus Schwab and friends truly want their New World Order, with no borders, no limitations on their power, with they and other influencers joining in a one world government, their schemes cannot succeed because they are missing the element that has joined together all the past Kingdoms referred to in the beginning of Revelation 13.  The symbolic “beast” of this chapter is the past and future Kingdoms of the Holy Roman Empire. This final human kingdom will oppose God one more time at Jesus return (Revelation 16:14-16, Revelation 19:15)

As in the distant past, man’s attempts to build a super world government, is labeled “Babylon,” (Revelation 14:8, Revelation 17:5) Babylon is symbolic of man, under the influence of Satan, ruling himself in opposition to the Creator God.

Reading through the rest of Revelation 13, we find another entity, another “beast.” (Verse 11) This beast seems to represent Jesus — because it has two horns like a lamb — but it actually represents Satan, who gives both civil and religious governments great supernatural power. (See verses 2, 11, 13)

Unlike the New World Order envisioned by the Davos attendees, this world ruling government will be glued together by a great false Church, with a counterfeit form of Christianity that will be worshipped by the entire world! (Revelation 13:8)

It is probable, indeed very likely that the final world ruling “Beast” or government will utilize the same concepts of the World Economic Forum — enforced mandates, absolute control over the world’s population, and the infamous “mark” mentioned at the end of Revelation 13, which refers to enforced religious worship, and without the mark, individuals will not be allowed to participate in work and economic commerce. (Verses 15-17) This prophecy roughly parallels the goals of the WEF, and its “Agenda 2030,” but is even more sinister than Klaus Schwab’s evil intentions.

At the end of the Davos meetings, attendees will leave for their own nations, emboldened with the destructive and dystopian dreams of a New World Order.  Whether their goals for shaping the future will be fulfilled is anyone’s guess.  But what replaces it will surely become reality. And its defeat will take the intervention of God!

Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

November 18, 2022:  World News & Prophecy Review has been waiting for the US election process to conclude before going to press.  Unfortunately, the process of the US midterm election process has mirrored the debacle of the 2020 Presidential year election.  Ballots are still being counted in Arizona, more than 10 days after election day!

Meanwhile leaders of the top economies of the world met in Bali, Indonesia, for the G20 summit, along with 2 highly influential, unelected individuals.

Election Integrity

From a prophetic perspective, can we draw any conclusion regarding these seemingly disconnected events?

The four major Republican candidates in Arizona, Kari Lake for Governor, Blake Master for the US Senate, Abraham Hamedah, Attorney General, and Mark Finchem, Secretary of State, all campaigned to reverse Progressive initiatives of the Democrat Party, open borders, mail in ballots, critical race and transgenderism in public schools, etc.  All four campaigned vigorously, while their Democrat counterparts, were mostly unseen during the campaign season, and the Democrat challenger for Governor, Katie Hobbs, refused to engage in debate with Kari Lake.

Republican voters were highly encouraged by candidates to vote in person, and on election day 72% of all voters on November 8 were Republican.  Virtually all polls predicted victory for the Republican party, but the results of each race were very close, and integrity of the election has been questioned with thousands of examples now revealed of ballot harvesting and the inept processing of election day results, or the breakdown of printers and processors in Maricopa County, the most populous in Arizona. Although a massive Red Republican wave did not materialize during the midterm election, the Republican party did secure a majority in the House of Representatives.

In the key states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada, conservative voters have objected to the election process or raised questions regarding ballot harvesting, mail in ballots, or other suspected election fraud.

Unity In Bali

In Bali, Indonesia, world leaders were lectured by former software mogul, Bill Gates and self-appointed Chairman of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab on the necessity of Digital ID and Global Vaccine Passports for International travel.

A declaration, signed by G20 Bali Leaders, reads “We support […] efforts to strengthen prevention and response to future pandemics that should capitalize and build on the success of the existing standards and digital COVID-19 certificates.”  Paragraph 23 of the Declaration reads. “We acknowledge the importance of shared technical standards and verification methods, to facilitate seamless international travel interoperability, and recognizing digital and non-digital solutions, including proof of vaccinations.”

All which means the developed world has agreed to allow the World Health Organization to allow standards that would restrict travel between nations.

What is the correlation between this important summit and recent United States elections?

United States Resistance

The enactment of these universal directives is more difficult without a compliant United States.  Under the Trump administration, the United States de-coupled from Paris Climate accords, stopped funding the World Health Organization and encouraged other nations to pursue their national interest.  At the United Nations, President Trump encouraged Germany to be careful about reliance on Russia as their primary source for energy and was ridiculed by their delegation.  Today that advice makes a lot of sense in the middle of a Russian/Ukrainian war, and European nations scrambling for alternative energy supplies as winter approaches.

Conservative leaders in the United States have been sounding the alarm of the loss of individual freedom, while Progressive leaders are embracing the ideas and philosophies proposed for the entire world by the Davos Group, World Economic Forum, World Health Organization and United Nations.  These two ideas cannot coexist in a United States that remains true to the principles of the Constitution, which protect individual rights.  Something must give, and Bible Prophecy indicates a big change for nations that are proponents of the right of individuals over state control.

Increasingly, those individual freedoms have been either taken away or surrendered to the power of the state in most of the primarily English-speaking nations of the world, the UK, Cananda, Australia and New Zealand.  Their leaders fully embrace the restrictions imposed on citizens during the Covid-19 Pandemic.  This is a goal of Klaus Schwab, and the World Economic Forum.  He calls it a New World Order.

The Rise of “the Beast”

In Revelation 13:16-17 we read of a future world power that forces a “mark” upon everyone on earth.  In order to participate in the economy — to “buy or sell,” — to have a job or shop, citizens will need to receive this mysterious mark! “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, ¹⁷ and that no one may buy or sell except one who has [the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

What is the “mark?”  Remember — the “Beast” of Revelation has a religious component to it. (Revelation 13:11-14)

The Bible interprets the symbol of “beast” and “horn” as a government, kingdom, king or leader. (Please see Daniel 7:23-24)

Revelation 13 indicates two governments, civil and religious, working in concert with one another.  The 2nd beast mentioned in Revelation 13:11 is a religious entity, deceiving the world with miraculous signs and wonders.  It appears to be Christ like — as a lamb, but it is actually of the Devil!  It is within the context of religious deception that we are able to understand the mysterious mark.

One of the identifying signs between God and His chosen people Israel was the Sabbaths He gave to them.  (Exodus 31:13, Ezekiel 20:12, Ezekiel 20:20)

The prophet Daniel gave a parallel prophecy to Revelation 13, in Daniel 7:23-25.  These 2 dynamic chapters of Bible Prophecy touch upon the same themes — worldwide enslavement to government mandates, persecution of the people of God, even to the point of changing “times and law.”

Very likely, using the power of state enforcement, a future world ruling government will enforce not only economic restrictions, but religious ones as well that shut out all those who resist the state, making the worship of the Beast a necessary prerequisite of participation in commerce! (Revelation 13:6)

Another proposed change is the elimination of paper currencies, in favor of “digital currencies” with a social credit score — a score controlling individual access to funds, restricted to the individual if not compliant.

What Can You Do?

Are we there yet?  No, but when the power of the state can be universally applied to enforce health mandates; enforcement of travel restrictions unless obeyed, we may not be far off!

Revelation 14:12 instructs the saints (people of God) faced with the demands of this coming government, to adhere to “the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”

To accept the “mark of the Beast” is a sure death sentence, as everyone who does so with suffer the wrath of God! (Revelation 14:9-10)

In the last few months, because of articles such as this, the narrative on the Covid 19 pandemic has begun to change.   In the beginning of the discovery of the novel coronavirus, the true nature of the disease and its origin was unknown.  With the unknown comes fear.  Fear drove the official response to an unsuspecting public around the world.  With fear, the world has been controlled by individuals and governments, acting with one accord.  Perhaps no one event has ever united the world as much as the response to Covid 19 virus — but not in a good way!

World News & Prophecy Review has consistently challenged the official narratives, related to accuracy of reported deaths, recovery, mitigation measures (masks, “social distancing,” etc.) and treatment algorithms recommended to hospitals, as well as questioning the efficacy of Vaccine therapies rushed into “Emergency” use, bypassing the important step of animal testing.  In light of the tens of thousands of pages of vaccine injury and death related to the vaccines — information Pharma giant Pfizer was forced to release to the public by Federal court order, the official position on the Covid 19 has now been challenged by many.

Recently an article published in The Atlantic, begged for “Pandemic Amnesty,” asking forgiveness for all those responsible for shutting down society needlessly. Dr. Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer, claimed that he was “misled” by his scientists regarding the data from his own company trials.  After the vaccines were given EUA (Emergency Use Approval) Dr. Bourla angrily denounced “vaccine deniers,” and insisted they were domestic terrorists who should be imprisoned!

Early during the Pandemic, physicians such as Dr. Robert Malone (inventor of MRNA technology), Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Simone Gold (and many other America Frontline Doctors), the Canadian COVID Care Alliance, advocated for an approach to disease management in opposition to Dr. Anthony Fauci’s government mandates to physicians and hospitals and were often censored, blacklisted or DE platformed for expressing their contrary opinions.

Dr. McCullough, one of the most published Cardiologists and Internists in the United States has recently been fired and had his medical license revoked for his outspoken stance against the medical establishment.  It is this kind of control that has led many to challenge the authority of the Covid taskforce and is specifically the kind of tyrannical approach Bible students understand will be prominent in the future!

Most importantly, what might this have to do with the fulfillment of Bible Prophecy?

In the Olivet Prophecy, Jesus specified disease epidemics as one of the preliminary signs of His 2nd coming, (Matthew 24:7)

While many Bible students have suspected pestilence on the order of the “Black Plague,” or the Spanish Flu of 1918, what if the origin of “end time” pestilence is manmade?  There may be corroboration of this in Revelation 18:23. One of the words in this verse includes the English word “sorcery” translated from the Greek word “pharmakeia.”  It is the root word for our English words “pharmacy,” and “pharmaceutical.”

Chapter 18 of Revelation describes the destruction of the incorrigibly wicked system of Babylon, which has wrested control of all world governments through tyranny of Kings and has been enriched by human slavery, and sins against humanity on a massive scale! (Revelation 18:3, 5. 5-15)

Is it possible that the manipulation of populations, controlled by the rise of a “Beast” power, demanding the worship of the entire world (Revelation 13:4) and through worldwide deception (Revelation 13:13-14) could do so through Pharmacologic means, with manmade viruses?  As Dr. Blaylock’s article points out, the authorities directing Covid response did so in opposition to known and credible medical protocols.  We also know that biologic weapon labs in the United States, China and even Ukraine are working on even stronger and more powerful pathogens and viruses that could be the fulfillment of Jesus’ important prophecy of increasing pestilence.  Could this also be a fulfillment of the “sorcery” of Revelation 18:23?  Only time will tell, but it is an area of Bible Prophecy to continue to watch.

November 4, 2022: In the United States, we are four days away from the most impactful midterm elections in the history of the United States.

The assessment of this essay may be shocking to those who are used to the normal swing in the balance of power in United States elections.  Most of us are accustomed to a slight tilt on the political spectrum from the middle ground, a bit to the political left or right, every 2 and 4 years.  The 2020 Presidential election dramatically altered the course of the nation.

In the state of Arizona, a highly contested state in the 2020 Presidential election, an audit conducted by the Arizona Senate revealed an error rate of 20% in mail in ballots, with either no signatures, or signatures that didn’t match the voter signature on file. Inspecting only 5% of ballots (100,000), 20,000 votes in the 2020 election should have been invalidated.

Combined with ballot harvesting schemes in Arizona and other key states, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia, documented by the movie 2,000 Mules, there is sufficient evidence of election malfeasance in the 2020 to render the result of a Biden victory highly questionable.

The Presidential election of 2020 profoundly changed the status quo in American politics. If the will of the American people was defeated by dark and sinister forces, an alignment of media, tech, and deep state actors, a fair election would show the true nature of the electorate.

As readers, some of you may fondly recall a time when there really wasn’t that much difference between the two parties in the United States.  The United States may never return to what was considered a normal give and take, balance of power between Democrats and Republicans.

The proof of the change is easily discerned by many Americans, who see profound difference in their lives from January 2020, and the 22 months that have followed.

Americans are alarmed at higher energy prices, when in 2020, the United States had achieved energy independence for the first time in five decades.  Do you realize, that in January 2020, when President Trump left office, Americans were paying the lowest cost ever for a gallon of gas, adjusted for inflation?  Now the nation faces the highest energy costs ever — not because of lack of supply or ability to produce, but because of policies that have restricted domestic production.

The last two years have seen a rising tide of internal problems, most if not all intentionally exacerbated by deliberate policy; a flood of illegal immigration, increase in drug overdose and death, depravity in our school systems, pushing the agenda of trans genderism.  Some states now openly advertise they will pay for the abortions and trans gender surgeries for those who cannot get them in their own states. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for such crimes against the innocence of youth!

Depravity has been normalized politically by the Democrat party.  The divide between right and wrong in American politics have never been more profound.

If there is a silver lining, many polls are predicting a “Red Wave,” — a massive turnout on election day of conservative voters.

One of the reactions to the 2020 election is the emergence of many conservative candidates in every state who are determined to chart a course for the United States that will repudiate illegal immigration, the rising crime fate, restore energy independence and the American economy.

As we search the Bible for answers, is there any historical precedent that could provide insight into what the near future of America might be?

In ancient Judah, Josiah was the final righteous King who reigned from 639-608 B.C.  Josiah instituted reforms within the nation that were pleasing in God’s sight, including repudiation of Baal worship and discovering the Law of God. You can read about Josiah’s reforms in 2 Kings 22 and 23.

Will America have a “Josiah” like moment if a Red Wave of conservative values are instituted?  The mid-term elections of 2022 may provide important clues to the near-term future of America.

(July 8, 2020) Today in the pre-dawn hours, over 30 FBI agents raided the residence of former President Donald Trump, Mar-a- Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida.

Such action has never before taken place against a former United States President.

While charges haven’t been made public, the suspicion is that the Justice Department will accuse President Trump of possession of information sensitive to national security or of documents taken from the White House illegally upon his departure from office.

Accusations and investigations of President Trump began even before his election to the Presidency in 2016, as the Clinton campaign fabricated a spurious report, supposedly written by an ex-MI6 British Spy, Christopher Steele.  The “Steele Dossier” became the pretext to wiretap and investigate Donald Trump as he took office and allow FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) warrants to be granted to the FBI Director James Comey and the Justice Department to initiate covert operations on the incoming administration.

The Presidency of Donald Trump was filled with allegations, investigations and impeachment trials.  At the end of his term, there was never any evidence of any of the accusations that occupied his four years in office.

Maybe it should come as no surprise that political enemies would try once again to derail the agenda of the former President.  So far in the mid-term primary elections, 95% of Trump endorsed candidates have breezed to victory, an unmatched record in American politics.  Many of the races will have national implications with important Gubernatorial, Senate and Congressional seats up for grabs which could give majorities to Republicans in both the House and Senate.

Why should this matter for students of Bible Prophecy?

More than any nation in history, the United States was founded on the rule of Law.  Law expressed in the Constitution of the United States and its 27 Amendments were developed to protect the individual citizen.  By rejecting the government of Britain — a monarchy — the framers of the Constitution modeled the common law that they had studied in the Holy Bible, understanding and giving reverence to God for allowing them to separate Church and State, recognizing the freedom of worship.

What happened in South Florida early this morning is exactly the type of abusive government intrusion and rule by might the Signers of the Declaration of Independence railed against!

Bible Prophecy warns that this type of government will once again be dominant at the close of the age.  Revelation 13:1-18 describes the most tyrannical government in human history, yet to appear, which will dominate the affairs of all mankind.  This government will be worshipped!  It will attack and war against all who truly obey God.  And unlike the original intent of the United States founders, it will unite with the power of the Church, deceiving all mankind!

But before that dominant power ascends upon the world scene, the most powerful nation in history is prophesied to fall from prominence — and rapidly so.  Many of the prophets disclose that the modern descendants of Jacob, found in the English-speaking nations of the world, will fall into national calamity.  Jeremiah wrote that it is the time of “Jacob’s trouble.” (Jeremiah 30:7) Jeremiah goes on to explain that “Jacob” will be corrected “in justice.” God inspired the prophet to disclose that other nations would be used to exact national discipline (Jeremiah 30:11)

Many prophecies indicate that those who bear the greatest responsibility of national sin are the unjust leaders — those who use the power of their offices for their own gain and ends.

Note Micah 3:8-10 “But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord, And of justice and might, To declare to Jacob his transgression And to Israel his sin. ⁹ Now hear this, You heads of the house of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel, Who abhor justice And pervert all equity, ¹⁰ Who build up Zion with bloodshed And Jerusalem with iniquity:”

Isn’t this an apt description of the lawlessness that has overtaken our nation? Bloody and heinous crimes are skyrocketing, illegal immigration is surging, inflation is soaring, and virtually all horrendous outcomes are the result of broken laws.

Whatever the immediate outcome of the current proceeding against the former President (it could result in further political victory with an awakened conservative movement in the United States) the future of the “House of Israel” is bleak because of the preponderance of disobedience which will eventually result in national calamity and captivity!

Amos 5 is one of the most tragic of Bible Prophecy and specifies the fall of the English-speaking peoples.   It projects a meager 10% survival rate of the entire population! (Amos 5:3)

There is a way out — Amos admonishes Israel to “Seek Me and live.”

The unjust leaders of the nation are again addressed in verse 7; “You who turn justice to wormwood, And lay righteousness to rest in the earth!” This is what is happening in our nation today!

Amos 5 is a sobering condemnation on the events of our current age.  In a nation where justice is to “run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream”, (v. 24) the opposite is becoming the norm.  Because of that, national captivity is prophesied. (v.27)

What can you do?  You don’t have to be an expert in picking political sides, but you do need to understand right from wrong.  You can recognize the evil of our age and ask for God’s intervention in the affairs of mankind.  There is Godly protection promised to those who are anguished over the iniquity of the nation.  Ezekiel 9:1-11 is a prophecy that describes the punishment of the wicked of society but promises protection for those that recognize the perversity of the nation.

Heads up! In 90 days, the United States will conduct the most important mid-term election in history.  If it is a fair election, it will likely be a tidal wave of red — a conservative tsunami unequaled in American political history.  It could signal a time of reprieve, and perhaps allow more time for the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to be preached!

July 8, 2022: The first World News & Prophecy Review newsletter was inspired six years ago by the decision of the United Kingdom to leave the European Union, in a National Referendum vote, June 23, 2016. Our first publication was a modest email distribution, sent to “friends and family.”

It was a defining moment for the British Isles, and signaled a conservative, nationalistic movement that was similar to the “America First” agenda put forward by then Presidential candidate, Donald Trump. Mostly, it signaled the independent spirit of the British people to have autonomy, making their own national decisions, without interference of unelected European bureacrats.

June 2016, WN&PR wondered if the decision by the British electorate signaled a similar response in the fall of 2016 in the Presidential campaign of candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump?  The thesis was validated with the election of Donald Trump.

Ephraim First!

Students of Bible prophecy recognize the importance of Joseph, Jacob’s 11th son.  In Genesis 48 and Genesis 49, we read that the incredible birthright promises, originally given to Abraham, then passed to his son Isaac, then conferred to his son Jacob — were then given to Joseph’s sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.

Even though Ephraim was the younger brother, Jacob explained, over the protests of his son Joseph, that Ephraim would be “set before” Manasseh (Genesis 48:27-20)

When these birthright blessings of National greatness (Genesis 12:1-3, Genesis 17:6-8, Genesis 27:27-29) began to be expressed, thousands of years later, at the beginning of the 19th Century, the British Empire rose first to prominence on the world stage, and for over 100 years, the “sun never set on the British Empire!” (Read more about the miraculous ascent of both Ephraim and Manasseh in this booklet: The United States and Britain in Bible Prophecy)

The pattern of Ephraim first has continued from the time shortly after wars between England and America ceased, in the War of 1812, when the world’s most powerful navy and army were defeated by Andrew Jackson’s army in the Battle of New Orleans, January 1815.

Great Britain became great, colonizing all over the globe, securing important and vital sea gates, guarding and controlling commerce on the high seas.  Later, and even today, the United States Navy has succeeded in that role.  Together, both nations combined to defeat dictators and tyrants in the early and mid-20th century. In each case, Great Britain entered war first, both times followed and joined by the United States.

Through the process of colonization, the British peoples became a “United Kingdom,” establishing a presence in the “New World,” in Canada, and at the opposite end of the planet, in New Zealand and Australia.

True to the prophecy of patriarch Jacob, Ephraim rose first in fulfilling the blessings originally given to Abraham, and then the United States displaced Great Britain as the world’s supreme Superpower.

“Ephraim first” may be important in watching world news and prophetic events now, and in the future.

Common Heritage

Winston Churchill famously remarked that America and Great Britain were “two peoples separated by a common language.”

The descendants of brothers Manasseh and Ephraim are linked in history, as well as Bible Prophecy, and though they share the same language, there are differences between the two.  England and her prominent Commonwealth partners are governed by Parliamentary Democracies and the United States by a Republic Democracy.  Similar, but not exactly alike — like our common language.

Resignation of Boris Johnson

Unlike the United States, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom is not elected by the people, but is chosen by the various PMs of Parliament, either by his own party, or coalition of parties who chose the executive leader of the nation.

Three years ago, Boris Johnson succeeded Teresa May after promising to “deliver Brexit,” which May was unable to accomplish.

But now, with his administration rocked with numerous scandals, Johnson has been forced to resign.

It is possible this humiliating resignation foreshadows what could happen in the United States with President Biden?

United States Political Scandals

Largely ignored by most corporate media outlets, the scandals surrounding the Biden family are likely much greater in scope than those of Boris Johnson. As Vice President, Mr. Biden admitted withholding $1 Billion in foreign aid to Ukraine, unless they fired the lead prosecutor who was investigating ties between the Vice President’s son, Hunter Biden, and Burisma Gas Company. The Ukraine government fired the investigator, received the funding, and the potential scandal was quieted — for a while, only to resurface in the Presidential campaign of 2020, though largely ignored by the media.

Just a few days ago, President Biden approved the sale of 1 million barrels of oil from America’s strategic reserves to a Chinese company, which also has a business relationship with his son.  While Americans are paying the highest cost for gasoline in American history! The President shut down pipelines and oil leases on his first day in office — at a time when the United States had become a net exporter of energy! Now the US imports oil from unfriendly nations, and also is selling vast portions of reserves! In between these events, there are dozens of salacious and incriminating details of the life of President Biden and his son Hunter found in a diary written by the President’s daughter Ashley and in a laptop owned by his son.

President Biden’s Resignation?

The decline of the mental health of President Biden is obvious to even casual observers. Will his health condition provide a convenient excuse for he and his family to escape further media and public scrutiny?  Only time will tell, but don’t be surprised if a resignation isn’t forthcoming either before or after the upcoming mid-term elections in November 2022.

Ephraim In Prophecy

Further supplementing the role of Ephraim in Bible history and prophecy, this tribe and its descendants are mentioned 169 times in The Holy Bible., more times than any single tribe. (New King James Version) (Manasseh is mentioned 139 times)

Ephraim is often shown to be the leading people of the 12 tribes of Israel and their descendants.

The Book of Hosea contains more mentions of Ephraim than any other single book of the Bible, 32 times, and gives significant insight into the future of Ephraim — the modern descendants who include the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and perhaps South Africa, settled by both Dutch and English colonists.

What are some of the startling prophecies concerning Ephraim in Hosea?

Hosea 11:3 says, “I taught Ephraim to walk, Taking them by their arms; But they did not know that I healed them.”

The British Empire was responsible for spreading the word of God throughout the world and was blessed with abundant wealth during the 19th century, but now the knowledge of God in the British Isles and former colonies is an afterthought.

Modern Ephraim is guilty of forgetting his maker, boasting, “And Ephraim said, ‘Surely I have become rich, I have found wealth for myself; In all my labors They shall find in me no iniquity that is sin.’” (Hosea 12:8)

The English-speaking peoples of the globe are indeed wealthy, but they have forgotten God was the source of those blessings and riches.

Future Hope for Ephraim

The Book of Hosea indicates a self-righteous superiority that exists even today.  And maybe for good reason. The descendants of Ephraim have been proud, industrious, inventive, leaders of the free world, making use of the abundant and bountiful resources God has given them.  Collectively though, the main indictment against Ephraim is prideful attitude stemming from their departure from a belief in God.

The end of Hosea ends on a positive note, citing national repentance that is stunning, after the return of Jesus Christ.

Hosea 14:8 “Ephraim shall say, ‘What have I to do anymore with idols?’ I have heard and observed him. I am like a green cypress tree; Your fruit is found in Me.”

Ephraim will once again remember their rich heritage — giving God thanks and praise for their physical and eventual salvation.

The Book of Hosea concludes with caution and encouragement to all who read this important prophetic book:

Hosea 14:9 Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them.

(July 4, 2022) A few years ago, Mike, a friend from Alabama called me on July 2nd to wish me a “Happy Independence Day,” citing the 2nd of July as the “Declaration of Independence.” Technically Mike was correct, the Declaration was passed, officially, by the Continental Congress on July 2, 1776. Still, Mike has had difficulty getting his friends to attend his “2nd of July Barbeque!”

Signer of the Declaration of Independence, and third President of the United States, John Adams, pronounced;” July 2 will be celebrated for generations to come.” Although the Declaration was approved on the 2nd, the formal document had to be put into official form, taken to the printers, and signed, all which took another 2 days to complete. Adams, representing the Federalist party favored the July 2nd date and Thomas Jefferson, of the Republican party, the July 4. Ironically, both ex-Presidents died the same day – July 4, 1826.

Today, July 4 (sorry Mike, and to John Adams) is the most patriotic National Holiday in the United States, with parades, cook outs, celebrations among towns, cities, and families across the country. It may be the one holiday in America in which virtually everyone remembers the history: the founding of a nation. In 1776, America stood against the tyranny of the British crown.

What is the state of the Republic, in July 2022?

The Rapid Decline of the United States

On CNN a few days ago, White House spokesman Brain Deese was asked how the White House would respond to Americans worried that they won’t be able to survive paying close to or over $5 a gallon for gasoline, potentially for “years” to come. Deese responded, “What you heard from the president today was a clear articulation of the stakes. This is about the future of the liberal world order, and we have to stand firm.”

In other words, “American consumer – get used to it.” After all, we must fulfill our role to a future “new world order.”

New World Order

A “New World Order” is not a myth. It is the vision of many political and business leaders around the world, with many adherents from the World Economic Forum, World Heath Organization, many prominent Billionaires, as well as many other societies and forums.

Instead of independence and freedom enjoyed as result of American rejection of the British crown, NOW adherents are devoted to control and dictate by eliminating the freedoms that the signers of the Declaration of Independence vowed their lives, honor, and fortunes to establish.

Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum declared the end of individual ownership, enunciating the WEF Agenda 2030 objective in a speech in 2016, “You will own nothing and be happy about it,” he said. As Anthony P. Mueller, a professor of economics, warns, “The main thrust of the forum is global control. Free markets and individual choice do not stand as the top values, but state interventionism and collectivism. Individual liberty and private property are to disappear from this planet by 2030.”

Under the scheme of the World Economic Forum, individual rights and freedoms must be subjugated to the needs of the state, and for this vision to be complete, “the U.S. won’t be the world’s leading superpower.”

Schwab’s vision seems to be coming to fruition.

The world economy, and markets in the United States and Europe, saddled by a mountain of debt caused by the creation of dollars, euros, and other leading currencies through quantitative easing (creation of fiat money by central banks), are on the verge of collapsing

For the past three hundred years, the most powerful and influential nations have been the British Empire and the United States of America. These two nations were the first of the modern world to outlaw slavery and champion individual liberty through a dedication to law. These two nations have also been most responsible for printing and disseminating the Holy Bible throughout the world.

Is it coincidence that the English-speaking peoples of the world have had the greatest systems of constitutional law, the envy of mankind, and up to now have dominated the world scene? Not only have these nations been protectors of law and freedom for their own people, but they have also been instrumental in liberating the entire world from the grip of tyranny throughout the 20th century.

The Declaration of Independence in 1776 represents the momentous time of history in which man’s freedoms were codified by a civil government, which had its foundation in the Laws of the Bible!

America’s Future?

The signers of the Declaration of Independence promised to “mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor,” and many of them and their fellow patriots did in fact sacrifice their lives and fortunes in service to our country.

Where does America go from here?

What does Bible Prophecy have to say about the role of America in the present world?

The prophet Micah shows a remnant people – the descendants of Jacob – to be prominent among all nations on earth. (Micah 5:7-9) These prophecies were never fulfilled in Micah’s day, in the 8th century before Christ.

Is the fulfillment of this prophecy in the last few hundred years found in the modern age in the nations of the United States and British Commonwealth? As gracious and inspiring as the sacrifice of America’s founding fathers and early citizens, in the late 18th century, no one could have predicted the rise and dominance of the English-speaking nations over 240 years ago.

Micah also foretold of the sudden demise of the “remnant of Jacob” as well, as the military, economic and political power is eroded. (Micah 5:10-14)

“And it shall be in that day,” says the Lord, “That I will cut off your horses from your midst And destroy your chariots. 11 I will cut off the cities of your land And throw down all your strongholds. 12 I will cut off sorceries from your hand, And you shall have no soothsayers. 13 Your carved images I will also cut off, And your sacred pillars from your midst; You shall no more worship the work of your hands; 14 I will pluck your wooden images from your midst; Thus I will destroy your cities.”

While we do not know when these things will happen, Micah and other prophecies of “Jacob’s trouble,” indicate a sudden and dramatic demise of American power. (Jeremiah 30:7)

With many economists outlining an impending recession, a wide-open southern border and the influx of millions of illegal aliens in the past 2 years, an ongoing proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, energy prices skyrocketing, how far is the United States from falling from its perch as leader of the free world?

The Warning of the Watchman

A clear principle in the inspired writings of prophecy is that God does nothing without giving appropriate warning: Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”

The prophecies of Amos and other Prophets is clear – if we do not repent of our national sin, we will be punished as a nation.

Another important prophetic principle to remember is that God will not bring calamity upon His people without a strong warning message. Ezekiel 33 explains that man must be informed of his sin before God will bring punishment, especially on a national scale.

Coupled with the pronouncement of Jesus, on the Mount of Olives, the message of God’s coming kingdom, with the reign of Christ to replace the unjust rule of man, you can be sure that the entire world will be warned during the “times of the end.” (Matthew 24:14)

Few churches are giving a warning message to the nation. Many are ignoring the dire calamities expressed in the hundreds of prophecies given to the descendants of the people God called out of Egypt – Twelve tribes (not one, Judah) of Israel.

What Can You Do?

If you are privileged to live in any of the English-speaking nations of the world – be thankful! Be aware of what is happening right now. Study your Bible. Prepare yourself spiritually because we are truly living in dangerous times.

(June 24,2022) The Supreme Court of the United States today released its long-awaited decision, overturning abortion as a Constitutional right.

The decision does not ban abortion in the United States entirely.  It returns the decision on the legality of abortion to the individual states.  26 states will now immediately enact “trigger” laws, which will outlaw abortion in those states.

The Origin of Abortion in The United States

The initial advocacy for abortion in the America began with Margaret Sanger, who is called, ironically, the “mother of planned parenthood.” Sanger founded the American Birth Control League and served as its president until 1928. The league was one of the parent organizations of the Birth Control Federation of America, which in 1942 became the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Sanger’s motivation was the elimination of the black race, Hispanics, and “inferior” human beings including the disabled, and abortion was just one way to that goal. As result of Sanger’s “pioneering” work in the field of abortion, laying the groundwork for Planned Parenthood, though black women account for only 7% of the population, over 28% of abortions in the United States are black babies.  The second leading cause of death in the black community today, after heart disease, is abortion. The most dangerous place for a black life, isn’t in the gang infested streets of the inner city — it is the womb!

Congresswomen Maxine Watters strident defiance of the decision today outside the steps of the Supreme Court may be one of the most insane advocacies of the modern age — working to fulfill the eugenicist ambition of one of the greatest racists of the United States!

Sanger was the leading eugenics voice in early 20th century America and inspired followers such as Bill Gates, Sr., his son, Microsoft mogul, Bill Gates, Jr., and a host of other modern influential leaders.

Sanger wrote in 1920, (Women and the New Race), “The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”

Sanger applauded Adolf Hitler’s goal of creating a superior Aryan race, “weeding out” of society the “incapable” and “undesirable elements” of society, either through abortion or sterilization.

Although Sanger spoke out against the “negro race” to the Klu Klux Klan organization, she didn’t confine her hate only to blacks.  In 1922 she wrote “Slavs, Latin, and Hebrew immigrants are human weeds . . .a dead weight of human waste. Blacks, soldiers, and Jews are menace to the race.”

The Future of Abortion in the United States

Since the Roe vs. Wade decision in 1973, the generation with the greatest supporters of murder in the womb, in the United States has been the generation born after WW2 — the “Baby Boomers.” That trend, thankfully, has begun to reverse, especially in the Millennial generation, who have had access to the technology that clearly shows human life begins at conception, a heartbeat begins at 5 weeks, and at 10 weeks a baby sucks its thumb in the womb.

Another shocking development in the past few years has been the admission by some abortion advocates that they believe in abortion as a sacrament to their worship of the devil!

Also exposed has been the racket of Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics, whose major source of income is selling aborted baby parts!  Talk about double dipping — Planned Parenthood has also reaped massive income from the funding from the Federal government.

What is likely to happen in the United States in the aftermath of the Supreme Court decision? The radical left will not go away quietly.  But for today, a small victory for the unborn.

Immediate Response to Court Ruling?

The modern 20th century abortionists and eugenicists, including Sanger and Hitler were part of a Luciferian cult, worshipping the “god of this world.” (2 Corinthians 4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.) 

Will there be more social unrest and disturbance from the radical left in the wake of the Supreme Court decision?  Knowing the ultimate source of abortion and its advocates, violence and civil unrest wouldn’t be surprising.

Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

The devil is able to do his greatest work in the lawless and unbelieving. The Apostle Paul revealed this essential truth in Ephesians 2:2 “in which you once walked according to the ^[a]course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,” (emphasis ours)

An incremental step in the right direction has been made with the reversal of Roe vs. Wade. A small victory, but unfortunately, for future of minority lives, in liberal “blue” states, abortion will continue to flourish.

Pope Francis To Resign?

June 21, 2022. Rumors are mounting that Pope Francis will resign due to health reasons.  The 85-year-old Pontiff has had several health concerns in the past few years, with a portion of his colon removed last July, and reduced mobility due to knee and sciatica issues.

Some Vatican sources indicate the rumors are untrue but that hasn’t stopped watchers of the Vatican from speculating on his replacement.

The Last Pope

Students of Bible Prophecy understand the importance of the Papal office in history, and the future — specifically the time just before the return of Jesus Christ.

Anytime there is a change in the office of the Pope, interest stirs regarding the fulfillment of Bible Prophecy, and who will fill the role of a prominent figure mentioned numerous times in The Holy Bible.

And rightly so.  The last head of the Roman Church is specifically identified in the Bible as a most dynamic figure in the important prophecies of the “end time.”  But not in a good way.

Church and State

Americans recognize that the founding fathers of the United States clearly rejected state-controlled religion, while insuring freedom of religion for citizens of the new nation. They understood that the Bible guaranteed individual freedoms, and that Europe had suffered for over 1,000 years because of the unholy alliance of Church and State, often ruling over the nation/states of Europe in tyranny.

Individual freedoms and liberties, descended from the Holy Bible, were the inspiration of the liberties guaranteed under the Bill of Rights and Constitution of the United States.

The framers of the United States Constitution were well aware of the abuse of power when the Church and State colluded against the common man. Their understanding of the history of the Roman Church and the Church of England guided them to establish freedom of choice, not the enslavement of one church sponsored religion.

Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Washington — were well aware of the dark history of the major power structure in Europe for a millennium — The Holy Roman Empire!

Europe and Religion

Although interest in the Papacy and the Roman Church is high in Europe, according to the Pew Research Center, only 28% of Western Europeans believe in the God of the Bible.

In the 21st century, few understand that the times in which Europe was most powerful was when the Church ruled with the State in an alliance that emulated and honored its Roman heritage, both politically and religiously.  Bible Prophecy shows a startling change in the secular attitude that now prevails in Europe.

The final leader of the Roman church will force the entire earth to worship the final resurrection of the Roman Empire:

Revelation 13:13 “He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. ¹⁴ And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. ¹⁵ He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.”

Not only will this leader have supernatural power, but he will also possess the power of life and death.  In European history, the first group to receive the persecution of the “Great Inquisition” were a Sabbath keeping group called the “Waldensians,” followers of Peter Waldo, who were members of the Church of God in 12th century France.

As history repeats itself, this great, yet dark, powerful church will persecute all who refuse its mysterious “mark.” (Revelation 13:16-17) The “mark of the Beast” is enforced Sunday worship, preventing dissent by limiting the ability to conduct commerce, having a job, or being able to buy or sell unless Sunday is observed as the day of rest.

The Holy Roman Empire Through History

In February 2021, World News & Prophecy Review published the article “Who and What Is The “Beast” of Revelation?”  This essay covered the important history of the combined governments of Church and State in Europe, which is now all but forgotten in the modern world.  But Bible Prophecy predicts the imminent rise of two governmental bodies, working in conjunction with one another — a large, powerful governmental colossus, working hand in hand with the most powerful church government in human history!  You can read about some of the important details by following this link: Who and What Is The “Beast” of Revelation?”

This article explains the important symbols of Bible Prophecy, which the Bible itself interprets.  “Beast” and “horn(s),” are synonymous with governments, both civic and religious — poised to dominate the world scene.

Who Will Be Next Pope?

Who will succeed Pope Francis if he resigns his office, and will his successor be the final Pope of the Catholic church?

Observers of Vatican politics speculate on two prominent Cardinals, Luis Antonio Gokim Tagle, from the Philippines, and Peter Turkson, from Ghana. Either of these choices would ensure the same progressive agenda of Pope Francis.

But will the Pope of Revelation 13:11-16, Daniel 7:20-21 and 2 Thessalonians 2:3-10 (man of sin) be a liberal and progressive Pontiff, agitating for gay marriage, speaking out on climate change and advocating for green energy?

The individual described in these passages is also mentioned in Daniel 7:26-25 as a “different” horn (leader).  Though appearing as Christ like (Revelation 13:11, like a lamb, but in reality, speaking like Satan) and will be blasphemous toward God, persecute the saints (members of the Church of God) and change the calendar.

Unlike today, where the current church authority is impotent and lacks influence, the final Pope will be the most influential personality on earth!

We do not know who the last Pope will be. If the history of the Holy Roman Empire is a guide, the final Pope will be of Italian descent.  After all, each Pontiff presiding over the ancient revived Roman Empire, including the past six revivals, (Justinian, Charlemagne, Otto the Great, Charles the Great, Napolean, and Garibaldi through Hitler/Mussolini) were Italian.

These revivals of the Roman Empire are summarized in Revelation 13:3, with the fall of the Empire in 476 A.D. being the “mortal wound,” which was prophesied to be “healed.” In 554 A.D., emperor Justinian claimed the “restoration” of the Roman Empire, uniting Constantinople and Rome, and recognizing the Papacy of Rome pre-eminent. The work of Justinian seemed to “heal” the wound.

The previous verses outline a future time in which the grandeur and scope of the ancient Roman Empire and Church will once again unite.  The Bible describes two sinister men, a civil leader and Church leader who together will rule the world with an iron fist — and the earth will accept them. The population of the earth will “marvel” (Revelation 13:3, Revelation 17:8) or be amazed, astonished and wonder at the “Beast,” and “False Prophet.”

Although we are given only an outline of their activities for 3 1/2 years, their crimes against humanity will be so heinous, they are both captured at the return of Jesus Christ, and thrown into the “lake of fire.” (Revelation 19:20)

The Coming Kingdom

The change in the Papacy that will lead the world to its final gigantic conflagration of war, with the nations opposing the rule of Jesus Christ at His return, will eventually be turned to 1,000 years of peace, success, blessing and unity.

Micah 4:1 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And peoples shall flow to it.

Will the successor to Pope Francis be the final Pope?  Not if Francis has influence in the selection!
